Its never long enough. I have watched it at least 40 times, lol, it grows on you. So much to hear each time. Im sure other songs will have Floor in the foreground more; they wanted more of a choral of our ancestors singing to us from the past vibe. 😊
@@anthilmusic Absolutely 😂 You should definitely do analytical videos from older Nightwish songs. Nightwish fans love to hear thoughts about compositions. It doesn't even have to be complicated and long. Things you pick up as a composer. I'm sure lot of fans would be interested about that. Greetings from Finland!
I concur, even a follow-up video after Perfume of the Timeless has grown on you, and you have some more observations to share would be nice. I noticed the more extensive orchestral instruments and choir presence in the music. Troy's last simple part with Harp, low strings, big double bass?, and low strong piano chords really got me. Loved that. In All the Works of Nature that Adorn the World, Tuomas loved using the Harp in the mix. Perhaps you could do a review of the Fan music video with the full orchesteal piece, even if you heard it before.
Floor crescendo vocals were there and became more and more powerful as the song proceeded along. Although subdued under the more dominant instrumentals, they were prominent enough. There are other mix versions where Floor’s voice is audio enhanced if that’s what you were looking for
In the future, I wouldn't mind some more analysis. Most reactors are not capable of dissecting compositional things, so it would be an interesting and fresh angle.
This certainly has gotten me very interested in what else the album might surprise us with, since as you said, the beginning of this is indeed rather reminiscent of the intro of Music, yet unlike that song, this one is not the opening track of the album. So there must have been a reason it was placed in the middle of it...
I really enjoyed your reaction, looking forward to more. It would be cool if you could go back a little after you've paused the video to get back into it again.
For me the song is a combination of Elan (with much better chorus) and Tribal, all with a very muddy mix where the orchestration is over everything else. As you said, nothing really new... and a little bit too long. Hopefully on the album will be something more interesting. With Floor...I think that Tuomas uses her as just another instrument that can express anything he writes because he knows that she can sing it. But if I would like to hear something where she really shines, I have to go to After Forever or Revamp and this didn't change it.
@@BigzampanoXXL She is always 100% in what she is supposed to do. But as I said, this is almost Elan 2.0 and I can't stand Elan... I would really like to hear her vocal melodies at least, but that is impossible.
@@janmaule606 hallo, i understand. Nevertheless Tuomas has a clear idea what he is doing about mix. We have to respect it, even we do not like it, it is not always about ourselves. And ELAN: i have a quite different feeling, i think they did it well on video and live. i like Elan in the way they delivered. It was a important song on my marriage...so I am biased. Floor: i love her especially when not to poppy. I can not stop to praise her for many different reasons. I prefer her singing on nearby each NW-song.

Yes, I've listened to it like 5 times since. It's great!
I think that more 100 times
this is the third album of the trilogy. Cant wait to see what masterpieces Tuomas has in store for us.
Grats for the first successful reaction. You should go on with it!
That's the plan! I'll do another reaction for the next single. 🙂
@@anthilmusic nightwish is good, but there are more singers
"Pan" is my favorite too!
You might not be able to do a "reaction" video to Human/Nature, but an analysis video on some of the songs would be cool.
That’s a great idea, I might do that!
@@anthilmusic Analysis videos are always welcome as there are thousands of purely reaction videos that don't add much...
Thank you! Great reaction and a new sub. I am so eager for professional reactions!
I concur
@@anthilmusic an analysis of "Music" would be awesome and even some stuff from the nature instrumental tracks
Thank you for your reaction, nice to hear your analysis, new subscriber here and greetings from the Netherlands!
Can't wait to hear your compositions in movies. Great talent!
Thank you! One day! 🤞
Nightwish and chess guy. Well that's an automatic thumbs up from me.
Great reaction! 😄
We have fine taste 🍷

Hey there and welcome! You live in a beautiful country that I would love to visit some day.

True! I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
Nightwish transitions are so epic. And music and singer(s)
Tuomas said this and the two previous albums form a trilogy, so sounding similar is not a huge surprise.
Pan 🤘🤘
ds d final installment of the trilogy it evolves very closely with the previous two

Is is not only the music but the video too
I love the fact that if you heard it, you can’t do a reaction video anymore.
And that’s true.
Too much are like fake it till you make it.
The writing and the performances are excellent. I feel though that Floor's vocals got buried. The mix is a bit muddy to my ear.

Great suggestion, next time I will
Teddy bear next to...Pinhead?
I'd call that counterpoint 🎶

Our Decades in the Sun is almost all Floor. Beautiful song.
Epic is the word
I couldn't help but use the word, "epic" over and over again haha
