    With a couple pieces of square tubing you could probably make a sleeve and an extension to bolt to the cart and use the same handle

    Love the personality that Salty brings to the video. I know the cart will be easier to handle now.

    Don't forget about the follow up video where you take it to the beach, load it up, & put it thru its paces. I want to see how it tracks and handles changes of direction.
    Keep up the great work.

    Great Video Brad, I have the same beach cart, which I absoulutely love, has been a blessing for me at 62 years old. I have thought of adding an extra axle on mine because my wife keeps adding more things to haul out to the beach every time we go fishing!! lol The beach cart itself was well worth the $300 you pay for it because it is so much easier to roll across the sand on our beaches along the Gulf. Thank you for Tackle Tuesday Also!!!

    might want to overlay the previous holes with a plate and put threaded screws in them to strengthen that spot on the cart... it might be a weak spot where the metals integrity has been compromised.... just a little piece of advice... love those carts and the upgrade

    Get two pieces of square tube alum the same sizes as the cart and handle. Take it to someone that can weld them and make an extension piece.

    Hi Brad not good to loose a Nut, you are still young I have 3 daughter older than you I turned 64 in November. You should be able to get some square tube aluminum and raise the handle to any height desired you can also strengthen the area where you removed the axle using aluminum U channel available at your local Home Depot or hardware store.

      I use a little lithium grease on the axels every so often. Also, maybe once a year or so I will hit up the axle with some emery cloth.

    • @comfortablynumb9342
      @comfortablynumb9342 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Huy0035 if you can find Teflon Reese trailer ball grease you'll have the best grease for lots of things. Not lithium, it's got to be the Teflon. I haven't seen it in years, maybe it's not available. Teflon has disappeared unfortunately, it's incredible stuff. I carried a blued Walther 22 pistol in my pocket while throwing cast nets and fishin' and living in Florida for 10 years and it didn't rust because of that grease. Once a month or so it got cleaned and greased and was in great shape after all that time. It would fix a squeaky wheel immediately and for a long time, and prevent rust.

    • @Huy0035
      @Huy0035 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@comfortablynumb9342 I will look for it. Im looking for something that will last longer for my squeaky garage door. White lithium in the spray can works for about a month on it. Wd40 does nothing.

    • @comfortablynumb9342
      @comfortablynumb9342 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Huy0035 WD-40 is crap. You want Teflon. It has a way of binding to metal and lasting. And it's a great lubricant.
