Måneskin is amazing. As an expat American living in 🇵🇹, I can tell you they just took over Europe by storm. Damiano David is the lead singer, and he was born to be a 🌟. His voice is pure silk but full power. His stage presence is top, top, top. His voice has a soft, raspy roughness that is smoothly sexy, impish, and a rock, that is at the same time classic, glam, indie, rap in vibe, and it just makes you feel alive. They also don't do drugs although Damiano and Thomas (guitarist) smoke. As if all this was not enough, they are extremely nice to their fans and media, and incredibly diverse in their musical spectrum; incredible diversity. They are a rock band that does Frankie Valli and the 4 Seasons take on "Beggin", u have to review that one! Amazing cover which Damiano sang at 18 years old, when they were all teenagers! Listen to "Zitti e Buoni", the Eurovision contest version (which they won) and their San Remo Festival version with an orchestral piece added on to the song, just simply brilliant! San Remo is a huge Italian song festival. It happens over several days and the performers sing more than once, so you will see them in different outfits because of that. Review as well "I want to be your slave" and "Ventianni". The other amazing thing is that they sound incredible live. The word "Måneskin" is Danish for Moonshine, as Victoria is 1/2 Danish. They met in middle school except for the drummer but they all love and care for each other. They are just the 💣 and I just hope they break into the USA; they deserve to be worldwide as their messege is for inclusiveness, non-descrimination and acceptance of who you are, want to be or do .
They are asking Marlena to come back home (literally: "Marlena, torna a casa"). Marlena is their artistic muse and they feel lost without her. The ballerina is a great visual, because she, too, can only dance when her own Marlena moves her, and feels broken without her.
They are very young from 22 to 20 years old. Damiano the singer writes also the lyrics in italian or english. If you listen the italian songs please find a version with eng subtitles because lyrics are always very powerfull and more complex than the ones written in english
Please continue on your Maneskin path! I love how you analyze and appreciate their work. After watching many interviews with Maneskin, they seem so genuine and selfless. So rare in today's world. They seem to just want to put out great music and want everyone to feel included! Such a positive message! Be different! Be you! Screw people who judge you! They are in it for each other and their fans! Damiano (lead singer) seems so very humble even though he has such a presence about him. Please react to I Want To Be Your Slave live @ and Zitti E Buoni live @ Such stage presence, such energy, such talent, such chemistry, such sex appeal! Thank you!
Ciao from Italy ✋ please, don't forget the lirycs. Damiano is a great writer. Coraline, I wanna be your slave, Vent'anni, For your love, La paura del buio, Beggin.
They are a very talented band and very young, currently all are 21/22. They have many great songs (pretty much all of them actually) with a few in English. With regards to their Italian songs you have to either listen to a version of the song with English translation or get a copy of the translated lyrics because their Italian songs are masterpieces in the lyrics department, I would even say that to my taste their Italian songs are also their best songs as a whole. Very deep. That said, although no translation, I would also watch their official music videos were available because some of them are also exceptionally well done and very artistic.
Damiano knows how to use his body to increase the intensity of the song. These kids are not good, they are FREAKING SPECTACULAR. In this song you will hear the MARLENA name alot, MArlena is their muse and he is singing about Marlena that he needs her back becuase he feels like she left him. He needs he right now because he is feeling that he is disappearing without any inspiration. They sing about Marlena in few songs. Keep checking out their material you will absolutely love these kids. Start with the winning appearance of Eurovision with the song Zitti E Buoni, after that "I wanna be your slave and Zitti E Buoni (wiwiblog at home), NEW SONG (Radio Italia live), Beggin and Kiss this from X Factor Italia, moriro da re, Chosen, Coralinne, Ventanni, Amandoti strictly liveetc, basically their entire material, there is not a single bad song, be that in italian or english. And i strongly suggest to listen to them LIVE
So I watched the first 1/3 of Eurovision before throwing in the towel. A rock song won it? really? wow. I went and watched that song, yep Jim you should check it out. Pretty sure if a rock song won anything here in USA anymore I'd drop from shock.
Ah Måneskin!! They are a really amazing live band btw! this song is even more passionate live! was waiting for you to get around to them. they are like a breath of fresh air tbh. The members are Damiano (singer), Victoria(bassist), Ethan (drums) & Thomas(guitar) . Damiano has such unique voice. They go from heavy rock to these beautiful rock ballads. They were on Italian X-Factor and their song “Zitti E Buoni” not only won Eurovision but the Sanremo music festival(for lyrics) You really can’t go wrong with any of their songs… someone will for sure leave links to Eng-Subbed videos! (they have some awesome music videos but sadly no CC’s… you could always watch both!) I would recommend you check out Zitti E Buoni live @ Eurovision but it’s only on vimeo :/
Addition: if you cant get the Eurovision one try "Zitti e Buoni" live on "Lotta På Liesberg". Or hear the wiwi jam version. After winning the Eurovison Song Contest (Biggest music event of the world). They shoot up in charts and are now one of the hottest thing in wordwide music. If you try "Beggin" don´t go with the x-factor version because its to short. Try a lyric one, and there exist another live version by italian television. I opt for : "For your love" The "problem" with Maneskin is that the lyrics are long and good - you need the look upon a piece with subtitles and translation.
Please.. Just to let you know if you write their name with Ä it will sounds like a long "eee", their name is MÅNESKIN with the Å that sounds like a " Ou" or even better an "oh" --> moh-ne-skin that means "moonshine" in Danish, but not the booze, moonshine is a synonym of moonlight. I live in Scandinavia and the 3 extra vocals are so difficult to pronounce.
@@s_amylee hi! I hope you don't get offended, my "lesson" was more intended to Jim and his followers.. I see from your entry that you are a "long term" fan. Are you from Italy?

Genuine and great reaction! This band is so talented and young! 22 the vocalist and 20 the others. They are from Rome, Italy and they won the Eurovision though an epic performance with the song ‘ Zitti e buoni’. Your trip with them will never end. A bad song from them doesn’t exists. Lirics and music always emotional or very catchy. I cannot wait to see your next reaction to them. Thank you!👏🏻🇮🇹

Maneskin makes me believe that there is still reasons to keep the faith in music. Check the “beggin” version. So much better than the original one. Damiano is great singing any music. Raggamufin, rock, whatever he wants.
Wonderful reaction for a superhuman band. You are right, Italian is one of the most beautiful language in the world. I hope you will check their others songs. The last album, Teatro d'ira is a masterpiece. Coraline, vent'anni, and so on
For me this is their best song and the acoustic version from vevo is spectacular. You should check their performance from eurovision finale the one with 60 millions views. Also paura del buio from.radio italia is amazing.
Next time you make a reaction you can check the lyrics translation in goggle so you can have an understanding of that they are singing. The lyrics of this song are amazing, they are so powerful. Damiano's voice and the visuals combined with the strong lyrics make this song a true masterpiece.
Beggin' is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. But you HAVE to see the live eurovision performances. There's the 2-in-1 video of "I wanna be your slave" and "ziti e boune" (I guarantee I fucked up the spelling there). The live performance of the later is what they won the contest on.
The band is inviting Marlena, their muse, to come back home because they lack inspiration without her and start to feel the cold and emptiness around them without the warmth of her creativity help. The ballerina who can’t dance is a good example of the situation. When you can’t stand on your feet by yourself there are others who tell you how to it (the puppet-master/mistress in the video = maybe a hint to disco producers) but obviously it is not the same thing when you have your own energy to do it (the ability to dance properly in the middle of the video). The ‘dark side’ of the song refers to the singer’s life before meeting Marlena: it was a desperate life - see the words of the lyrics in a translation, like Radio Italia Live for this song. The invitation goes on until the end of the song when the ballerina drowns in the bathtub and the singer is blind. Marlena is not come back home yet.
I suggest these Måneskin songs: In english For your love (a "golden age" classic rock song ) -> th-cam.com/video/z46cT3DcUXU/w-d-xo.html Fear for nobody (a pop rock catchy song) -> th-cam.com/video/Ln-zDvQT3sQ/w-d-xo.html In italian Coraline (a dramatic rock song) -> th-cam.com/video/yRnxYhttJwA/w-d-xo.html Vent'anni (a youth manifesto) -> th-cam.com/video/2Tyy3Rh4hlo/w-d-xo.html
he should find for the translation of the lyrics to have an idea of what's going on in italian songs like Coraline or Vent'anni... oh I see you provided links to video with translated lyrics, good idea.
I love this song, it's pure poetry, damiano is its natural interpreter, one of my favorite maneskin, beautiful, I listen to it at least 3-4 times a day
I recommend you to check out the lyrics for this song, they have great lyrics,. They are at their best performing live, they have a very unique stage presence. They also make very beautiful and stylish music videos as seen here. For live performances I recommend you to check out their audition for the Italian X Factor with their song Chosen and other X Factor performances , especially their cover for the song Begging. Also do not miss La paura del buio and Amandoti at Radio Italia live. You wouldn’t wanna miss also Coraline (with subtitles), it’s a very beautiful and sad true story. Moriro da re and Vent’anni are also one of my favourites, but best to check the lyrics beforehand. And of course the winning Eurovision song Zitti e buoni in the Eurovision grand final is a must, that’s what started the Måneskin mania all over the world 😅. (It”s been blocked in the US but I heard that there are some alternative option for you guys to watch it) Thank you for your reaction, hope to see more content like this from you in the future!!
React to the grand finale performance at Eurovision, they won with the song Zitti e buoni and you can see how good they are, born to be rockstar and imagine they are only 20 years old
I enjoy your reaction cause I am also impresed about the band, I found them at the Eurovision Song Contest and they deservedly won, they have such energy and talent. Listen to other songs; Ventanni, Parole Lontane and of course winning song Zitii e Buonni..

Hi, I'm italian. Madlena, and it surprised me too ... even if it is a hypothesis, it is the union of the names MARia MaddaLENA = MARLENA (Mary Magdalene from the Bible). And you can see it partly from the text and partly from the details of the video. Maybe it's a publicity stunt but the music, lyrics, Damiano's voice and the video are spectacular.
Shum by Go_A (Ukraine) should be the next. The public from Italy and Ukraine gave each other the higher score, both in semi-final and in the final. Maneskin brought "Zitti e Buoni" at Eurovision btw, not this song
ZITTI E BUONI (shut up and behave) is the winner song of Eurovision contest 2021. It's an hard rock song and with I WANNA BE YOUR SLAVE (in English) has risen in the international song charts. After those please react to CORALINE with a English translation (it is a must for a emotional and immersive Gothic rock journey)
If you want to watch it, there's a recent live version of this that is even better imho since isn't so overproduced and without other instruments, link in the comment 😊
Hi Bro , try to listen to the other maneskin songs and you will see that you will thank me (they also did some songs in english), but i suggest you start with coraline with english subtitles and read the text (a beautiful song like melody but high level like lyric).
Your speechless smile said everything. Please check coraline with subtitle for a Deep One anche the Grand finale Eurovision Song for a live performance you Will never forget. Grazie, da Silvia
If you'll react to other Maneskin's songs I think you'll appreciate the versatility: yuo'll find many "colours" in their music (metal, funky, soul...and so on). Try Coraline, or I wanna be your slave; Nel nome del padre, the cover of "beggin'"... you'll see!
If you want to react to their songs I can suggest you any of the songs from any of their 3 albums. All the songs are different, all worth being listened to
Great track, I agree however that there is a lot we are missing from not understandings the Italian. Anyone out there fancy creating some translation lyric vids? I know I should go learn some Italian but I can’t wait that long to know what he is saying………
There you can find the lyrics in English. Can't guarantee about the quality of the translation, but at least you can have an idea: th-cam.com/video/KvuzLgTcJXc/w-d-xo.html Marlena is not a woman, but their muse. The song is about the relationship of a musician with their art. They are afraid of losing Marlena: 'La vita senza te non può essere perfetta' 'Life without you can't be perfect'

Versions: #1#2 I'm walking through my city, the wind is blowing hard I left everything behind, the sun's on the horizon I see houses from afar, they closed the doors But luckily I've got her hand and her red cheeks She pulled me up from the ground covered with thorns With a thousand snakes' bites, motionless through the coils She didn't listen to those bastards and their cursing With one look she convinced me to pack my bags and leave And this is a journey no one's ever made before Alice and her wonders, the mad hatter We'll walk along this road and I'll never be tired Until time brings white onto your hair Just a paper sheet and half a cigarette are left in my hand Let's stay a little longer, we're not in a hurry Because I've got a sentence written in my head, but I've never said it Because life without you can't be perfect So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, because I'm afraid I'll disappear And the sky is slowly becoming transparent here The sun is illuminating the people's weaknesses A salty tear wets my cheek, while She sweetly caresses my face with her hand With blood on my hands I'll climb all the peaks I want to get where the human eye stops In order to learn to forgive all of my sins Because sometimes even angels are afraid of death Just a paper sheet and half a cigarette are left in my hand Let's run away from those who are too thirsty for revenge From this motionless land, because I'm feeling it stifling now Yesterday I was quiet because today I'll be the storm So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, because I don't want anymore... Before you I was just a lunatic, let me tell you now I wore a creased jacket and cuts on my wrists Today I feel blessed and can't find anything else to add This city will look out when it sees us arrive I was in the balance between being the victim and being the judge I was a shiver that brings light to darkness And sets you free from these bright shiny chains And I'm in doubt, whether they were deaths or rebirths So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back, because I don't want to disappear anymore, ah ah ah Ah ah, nai nai nai nai So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here So, Marlena, come back home, because I'm afraid I'll disappear
This video is a piece of visual-art. The video is full of symbolism and the lyrics are not directly connected with it. The dancer is the muse, the inspiration. the muse is broken, is lost... He pray for her (marlena) to come back. the last seconds are disturbing (the dancer in the bathtub) what if the inspiration disappears? blind....
Simply put, Marlena is the muse but she is not a woman, she is referring to music. In the text "marlena returns home" she speaks of her difficulty in composing texts because she has lost inspirations. However Marlena is back and also with arrogance.
Damiano wrote this song when he was 16...so impressive

Please react to I Want To Be Your Slave live @ and Zitti E Buoni live @ Such stage presence, such energy, such talent, such chemistry, such sex appeal! Thank you!
Listen to Coraline.... A masterpiece...
Coraline with sub eng!
Yes, it is
Ciao from Italy ✋ please, don't forget the lirycs. Damiano is a great writer. Coraline, I wanna be your slave, Vent'anni, For your love, La paura del buio, Beggin.
It is SO beautiful for me in Italian, even not understanding words, I feel it by heart...
If I’ll ever have kids one of them will be named Marlena
So I watched the first 1/3 of Eurovision before throwing in the towel. A rock song won it? really? wow. I went and watched that song, yep Jim you should check it out. Pretty sure if a rock song won anything here in USA anymore I'd drop from shock.
Welcome to Maneskin's world!
I opt for : "For your love"
The "problem" with Maneskin is that the lyrics are long and good - you need the look upon a piece with subtitles and translation.
@@paolol1748 it was an honest mistake as i’m doing it on a computer & are next to each other. I don’t need a lecture i’m aware on how to say lol
@@s_amylee hi! I hope you don't get offended, my "lesson" was more intended to Jim and his followers.. I see from your entry that you are a "long term" fan. Are you from Italy?
@@paolol1748 no offense taken! I’m not from italy but I’ve known of them for years! I came across their raggamuffin cover years ago and loveddd it but tbh i forgot about them in the midst of all the music i listen too. so it’s crazy to see how much has changed since then
Genuine and great reaction! Thank you!👏🏻🇮🇹
They‘re .. this band is.. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏
Listen to "Paura del buio" there is an awesome live version with English subtitles, and also "Coraline" with subtitles. They have great English songs, such as "For Your Love".
Read lyrics if you can, their songs are pure poetry!
Every song of them is wonderful. If you start to listen to them, you will see! The Måneskin journey is amazing
Best reaction ever! Listen to "Coraline" with English Lyrics and "Vent'anni"

Check the “beggin” version. So much better than the original one.
Damiano is great singing any music. Raggamufin, rock, whatever he wants.
There is so much great recent music out there. Måneskin are indeed something special....

Thanks for the your reaction we love Maneskin ❤️ ❤️ ❤️ are the future of music 🎶
The band is inviting Marlena, their muse, to come back home because they lack inspiration without her and start to feel the cold and
emptiness around them without the warmth of her creativity help.
The ‘dark side’ of the
song refers to the singer’s life before meeting Marlena: it was a desperate life - see the words of the lyrics in a translation, like Radio
Italia Live for this song. The invitation goes on until the end of the song when the ballerina drowns in the bathtub and
the singer is blind. Marlena is not come back home yet.
I suggest these Måneskin songs:

Il tuo sorriso ha detto tutto quello che c'era da dire ... Bellissima reazione :)
This song is simply a little jewel…
I love "Holy maccheroni!" :) Ciao, greetings from Italy!
(It”s been blocked in the US but I heard that there are some alternative option for you guys to watch it)
Thank you for your reaction, hope to see more content like this from you in the future!!
React to the grand finale performance at Eurovision, they won with the song Zitti e buoni and you can see how good they are, born to be rockstar and imagine they are only 20 years old
Thanks for your reaction. More Maneskin please :) Ciao from Italy
Maneskin the best.....
I enjoy your reaction cause I am also impresed about the band, I found them at the Eurovision Song Contest and they deservedly won, they have such energy and talent. Listen to other songs; Ventanni, Parole Lontane and of course winning song Zitii e Buonni..

Hi Jim, I'm Italian so I understand the words... check out for the lyrics in English... you'll find it simply breathtaking! Hug
SIMPLY...THE BEST
Hi, I'm italian. Madlena, and it surprised me too ... even if it is a hypothesis, it is the union of the names MARia MaddaLENA = MARLENA (Mary Magdalene from the Bible). And you can see it partly from the text and partly from the details of the video. Maybe it's a publicity stunt but the music, lyrics, Damiano's voice and the video are spectacular.
Okok....I've just subscribed...but now...MORE MÅNESKIN THANKSSSS

I'm walking through my city, the wind is blowing hard
I left everything behind, the sun's on the horizon
I see houses from afar, they closed the doors
But luckily I've got her hand and her red cheeks
She pulled me up from the ground covered with thorns
With a thousand snakes' bites, motionless through the coils
She didn't listen to those bastards and their cursing
With one look she convinced me to pack my bags and leave
And this is a journey no one's ever made before
Alice and her wonders, the mad hatter
We'll walk along this road and I'll never be tired
Until time brings white onto your hair
Just a paper sheet and half a cigarette are left in my hand
Let's stay a little longer, we're not in a hurry
Because I've got a sentence written in my head, but I've never said it
Because life without you can't be perfect
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, because I'm afraid I'll disappear
And the sky is slowly becoming transparent here
The sun is illuminating the people's weaknesses
A salty tear wets my cheek, while
She sweetly caresses my face with her hand
With blood on my hands I'll climb all the peaks
I want to get where the human eye stops
In order to learn to forgive all of my sins
Because sometimes even angels are afraid of death
Just a paper sheet and half a cigarette are left in my hand
Let's run away from those who are too thirsty for revenge
From this motionless land, because I'm feeling it stifling now
Yesterday I was quiet because today I'll be the storm
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, because I don't want anymore...
Before you I was just a lunatic, let me tell you now
I wore a creased jacket and cuts on my wrists
Today I feel blessed and can't find anything else to add
This city will look out when it sees us arrive
I was in the balance between being the victim and being the judge
I was a shiver that brings light to darkness
And sets you free from these bright shiny chains
And I'm in doubt, whether they were deaths or rebirths
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, I don't want to wait anymore
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back, because I don't want to disappear anymore, ah ah ah
Ah ah, nai nai nai nai
So, Marlena, come back home, I feel it's getting cold in here
So, Marlena, come back home, because I'm afraid I'll disappear
A jewel!
This video is a piece of visual-art. The video is full of symbolism and the lyrics are not directly connected with it. The dancer is the muse, the inspiration. the muse is broken, is lost... He pray for her (marlena) to come back. the last seconds are disturbing (the dancer in the bathtub) what if the inspiration disappears? blind....
❤️
Please do more reactions with Måneskin ❤️
Now I want see you cry on "coraline ".
Simply put, Marlena is the muse but she is not a woman, she is referring to music.
In the text "marlena returns home" she speaks of her difficulty in composing texts because she has lost inspirations.
However Marlena is back and also with arrogance.
