The small green round vegetable at start with the palm nut we call susumba in Jamaica 🇯🇲 we eat it with salted fish or in rundown with coconut milk. Can be nice but also very bitter 🙈

Eating in one plate is one thing I don’t miss in our culture. Being one of the youngest I never had enough food because everyone eat faster than me so then times I just start crying but thankful my dad use to eat with me from his own dish

INGREDIENTS USED: Cow meat, smoked cat fish, smoked mackerel fish, salted-dried tilapia (koobi), garlic, ginger, tomato, scotch bonnet, onions, Smoked herrings, Bush crabs, smoked tuna makes a wonderful palm nut soup. You can add some okra if you choose to. Welldone Tati

West Africans enjoy mixing different types of meat. I am African American and when we make Gumbo soup we put chicken wings, crabs, shrimp, sausage, fish & seasonings all in one pot Yum !!!
