Dear Augustin, I hope one day I can be your student and one of your favorite students, I am 15 years old and I am looking forward to studying at Yale University when I grow up. You’re my favourite violinist of all time and I watch all of your Ask Augustin videos on TH-cam, all these videos helped me a lot on my playing and I’m just here to say thank you❤❤️
How can you be energetic and so expressive? I wish I could temper my playing to even achieve 1% of your artistry. Thank you so much for this, arguably the best interpretation I have ever heard
Ooh, this takes me someplace. Profoundly thank you for working so hard, and expressing yourself without hesitation, and for the generosity of sharing music like this with everyone who wants to listen. 🪷
Augustine, your left hand follows keenly your sense of pitch and your right hand coordinates masterfully to produce your intended meeting, flow, and completion of the bow stroke. Love it!
Yayyyy, augustin thank you for all you do! I cannot wait for you to come back to Ohio one day, or the surrounding states so I can hear your beautiful technique again :). Much love
I only did that to give the new video a chance for a few weeks (youtube algorithms and search results etc). I might eventually republish the old one from 2015
I've been thinking that for so long! I listen to his TH-cam videos for 3 and 4 all the time, but it'd be so great to have one I could easily on my phone when I'm out and about without using up so much data. :D
I listened to Charlie Siem's performance of this piece live and also heard it in on TH-cam from Maxim Vengerov and while listening I wondered how Hadelich would compare to both of their performances. Of course, Hadelich performed it better than both of them.
I can not believe this is real, this must be an ai generated video or something; a human being shouldn’t be able to play violin like this. Grand virtuoso of the 21st century, maybe of all time🎉
But have you heard his older version? He unfortunately had it taken down from TH-cam and I did cry. But his old version is unmatched. It was live and when I first heard it I actually couldn't believe that a human being can execute something so perfectly. My biggest regret is not downloading it. So I will pray to the universe that he brings his old version back🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
It’s not just technique. It’s the soul of the music. It is alive
augustin never fails to impress
Goodness, I can never get bored watching this a 100 times

I've watched your old TH-cam video of this about a hundred times, so I'm so excited to have an updated one!

Beautiful Augustin! It's perfect! Your music is perfection. I hope you are fine!
We are blessed to have a person so talented using his life to bring us such wondrous musical gifts.
Amazing!👍👍👍In my opinion, this is the best recording of this piece. This is a very difficult piece, but Augustin Hadelich played it perfectly!
Marvellous, so differentiated, with wonderful musical lines.
He makes it look so easy 😭😭
😊
What a right hand. Incredible variety of sounds, perfect control of bow speed... Amazing!!

Ysaÿe is smiling. As am I. Thank you!
Breathtakingly beautiful! Bravo, Augustin!

Regret that I got to know him today…😢
He should be advertised more….🎉🎉🎉
Depois que Hadelich toca, os outros que lutem pra tentar superar. Que nível absurdo é esse cara.

It's unlisted to give the new video a chance, but the video link still exists.

I like Vengerov's interpretation better.
