  • The Sacred Grounds short film series, presented by MARKER, takes the cast from their backyard of the southern Coast Range of BC, to the far reaches of the Northern BC/Alaska border, to the Japanese Alps, to the Columbia ranges of interior BC, to reaches of the Southern Chilcotins Mountains and beyond.
We are excited to share these adventures into undiscovered zones and 'Sacred Grounds' that hold the best possible terrain environment for displaying these riders passion for skiing. The mountains provide us with so many blessings but can also take it all away in an instant - for this respect is due, a life of dedication is needed, and a whole lot of effort is required, all of which is rewarded with the times of their lives when it all comes together.
Part 2 of the series takes us on a journey from Pemberton BC to the Japanese Alps and back to the crews original proving grounds of Whistler BC. Here we explore how our past of developing hand made skis has affected our approach to riding deep powder and steep pillows, and how the "Connection" between coastal rainforest and man can lead to the ultimate balance of peace and chaos on skis.
Part 2: 'Connection' of the Sacred Grounds film series is one you won't want to miss if stacked pillow lines, deep powder and exploring old growth snow covered forests tickles your fancy. We hope you enjoy the ride along on the journey into our Sacred Grounds.

The segment that starts at 7:00 is so dope. Hats off to the skiers and whoever was working that drone.

This felt just like a trip on a short cultural movie. Beautiful narration, filming and riding! 🍻

Wow! This footage shows how absolutely gnarly this level of skiing actually is.

    WOW
I’m glad I watched this on a big screen first.
Felt like I was there and yeah I can do that but then these kids would pull off a big hit or they would pan out and you could see where they were…..EPIC

Is there a link for skis such as these? I live in a similar region. I would be very interested in skis designed with this specificity in mind.

Amazing footage! But I wonder why you choose 4:3 format. In 16:9 it could be more cinematic

This films are awesome, but you GOTTA have someone else narrate, it’s painful

Epic terrain & riding but all this new age backcountry spiritualism just proves the idolatry. If you don't know the actual, literal Creator of the heaven's and the earth, Yehovah Elohim of the Bible, then your spiritually lost, blind, naked, & dead in your sins. I know because I was that for 30 years. There's a huge difference between passion & idolatry! I served the idol of pow' riding most of my life, but then I learned better & now I use my passion to serve the King & His Kingdom. Repent & save yourself from a lost & deceived generation.

You too could preach to people in TH-cam comments lol. Abandon your fulfilling life of adventure and creation. Repent.

@@MrBuckroberts Being born-again doesn't require abandoning adventure & creation, that's silly. But the fulfillment you find in it is nothing compared to the fulfillment in Christ. Yes, repent.
