So beautiful and what an amazing tribute to Jo Cox. I saw Peter perform this in Copenhagen on the I/o tour in May - moving and ethereal. Hope it's released on the new album.
Lyrics: Whatever mess, you find yourself within, Regardless how you got there. When the edifice has slipped away and died, And left you standing there defenseless. (Chorus) Love can heal. X 4 There's something coming out of you, your body and your skin, Like mist comes from the water. You can sense it, when the cold has clenched its cords, And, alone, you face what's coming. For a moment, I raise my head, I can breathe the air. Out in the sunlight, in all the colours, Set against, a bed of green. A bed of green. (Chorus) Love can heal. X 4 [rising] Give into love. Give into love. Give into love. Give into love! [sustained] Love can heal. Love can heal... us.
I listened for the first time in París show a few dsys ago... amazing song... lyrics... performance and mainly the mood created... thanks Peter and please release it soon...😊

Actually no, he isn't. He has essentially his whole original range, and stunningly, volume - he can hold the tone much longer than you'd expect at his age. Sadly poor Phil Collins is a physical wreck - so while Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford to a high degree, and Steve Hackett completely are up to it, it won't happen.
So deep…😢
pg is the master!
Peter said recently (Uncut Interview) that Love Can Heal will be on i/o ! Really excited to hear the studio version !
Yay!! So glad to hear this!
Das ist ein so toller Song danke Peter du bist der beste 👍👍👍👍
Beautiful song! I cried the 1st time I heard it. (In concert. Cleveland 9/23)
I REALLY hope he has it on his new album for next year. Saw him perform this at Madison Square Garden. SO good. We need more music like this.
It´s even better with the amazing strings arrangement played by Ayanna Witter-Johnson and Marina Moore.
This is so perfect. I hope peter doesn't change it up too much when it gets recorded. So spiritual, pure, ethereal.
Tomorrow! We will listen to it tomorrow. And apparently - it's already excellent.
@@colefitzpatrick8431just got listening to it and I love it!
Here is a man who reminds me of my own father who knew how to respect and to be respected.
Your music heals.❤
He needs to release this. Powerful and moving tribute.

And posting today for David Amess. May they both know peace. Hoping one day Peter will release this - perhaps as a fundraiser for the families?
San Jacinto vibes on it…
Genius beautiful and moving.
Thank you for sharing this!
I was there, but I didn’t record anything. I wish that I had

March 11th 2023 - rumour is that this will be on I/O.
Yes i ld0
He looks like darth vader when he tooks the elmet out. Is he darth vader?
Peter Gabriel already had a light-saber in his early Genesis-Shows - long before the Star Wars-movie came out.
Cimbarius never saw Peter Gabriel's Light saber. Perhaps he is not Darth vader
Letycia - watch "Supper`s ready" by Genesis - in the end of the performance (circa 22nd - 23rd Minute) - there you will see Peter`s light saber. . .
@@Cimbarius really??? The man has been ahead his time all his life
😅😅😅
He is too old now for genwsis reunion
