i just started playing like 3 hours ago an i swear coming from games like destiny warframe bdo etc this is legit gives me nostalgic feeling and is the first game in longgggggg time i am willing to buy no questions asked
I love the fact that everything you do in the beta Carrie’s over to game release And I also like that I was able to do 5 of the PvP treasure hunts and no one cared or came after me lol
Yeah it is definitely a nice advantage with the carry over. I did a pvp with a treasure map sunk a couple of the other players with mortars and flaming long guns
There are a handful of crew uniforms tjat you can buy at the start but the more flashy or cool ones can be found at small outposts around the map and can be purchased at the vendor along with some blueprints or given as a quest reward @francothebrazilian2764
@@francothebrazilian2764you can kinda customize your crew with pre set outfits in the ship customization menu. That’s it for now I’m sure there will be more options when the game drops and goes through the first season
When people say there is no ground game, they do mean there is no ground combat, no defending your ship from a board, no boarding and attacking it. These elements would have made the game much much better and dinamic for a 'AAAA' game :V Sea combat however is rather enjoyable i have to say... but ubi really missed the mark in many ways.
Actually early private testing had all that but it was dumped. 2 players lock in on a boarding fight, both ships get destroyed and looted. Then they tried a timeout timer but it created wicked bad lag. Then they had basic ground combat but to keep it realistic those on the boats would wait and destroy the ground team and steal the booty. All great perks I think but would have killed the game in the crybaby gaming community. The thing about a product, you market to the larger demographic. I'm sure pc will make mods.
Can't you own a frigate or a Man o' war in this game? This ship showcased at the end looks like a brig sized ship just like ac black flag and rogue which is disgusting.
@@Banishedsoulsofficial how is comparing two pirate themed games by the same developer similar to comparing Mario Kart to GTA? Also the game started out as a AC Black Flag dlc! The comparison was a fair one, you need to treat your viewers with a little more respect and stop being a dick.
For some strange reason I couldn’t unlock the last ship shown in the video where you unlock the blueprints in the Indian isles I’m Brigand I’m the correct rank it said I lacked the detailed schematics could somebody explain to me why?
Gotta purchase or earn prints. Track the ship requirements in game. I'm currently getting a video edited that has me show where to go and traveling with another gamer to help him gather resources. I'll posy it up later tonight so check back and subscribe to keep up to date
How do I level faster I hit freeboot, just got main quest for hitting a convoy, I still have first crafted ship...but I bought blueprints for 2 others I think from merchants.... I'm just trying to get to brigand rank fast....

My friends and i did the pvp event and my buddy yonked the legendary map i hunted him across the map was so funny and fun but wish you shared pvp loot

They have already said nothing is locked behind PvP.
All weapons must be crafted or earned. The weapons earned in pvp have added effects, fire, explosion poison etc...
I highly doubt it, pvp is barely in the game. In the form of a crappy event.
