You make me be thankful that I was able to lead my mother to realizing that it is ok to desire wealth and prosperity. My mother used to be against wanting riches(not as bad as your mom though). I used to have conflicts over this. Then she eventually realized that in order to have more free time for her passions, she needs to be able to be independently rich(having some passive income to not have to rely on a job)

I came across your video while looking for a video on poverty, to my surprise u touch on a subject I've been struggling with for years. I was a abused in my past by my siblings. I've always been told to either let it go or not to be upset because that's what siblings do to each other. I'm 36 and I never got over it. Relationships with people are very tough for me, its hard to stay connected with others. Keep doing a great job!!!!!!!!

I went to college to study hairdressing thinking it was what i wanted to do because most the women in my family are in the beauty industy but i hated it i wasnt happy and it made very dipressed as with other negative things in my life so i made a disision to do only things that i want to do for me to be happy.
I have gone back to college to study small animal care as i want to own a small farm in a few years time its never to late to start a new life and to be happy.

    Hi Adelle,
What you said from 16:38 to 16:55 is such an important bit of info for me. It's something I knew but still haven't taken the steps to the fullest extent even though I have two videos on my TH-cam channel. I kind of put it to the side. I have to get more active and involved with it and I want to thank you for being on TH-cam to spread your positivity and guidance. Besides you being incredibly gorgeous!, you are great at what you do. Thanks so much. I will be getting your book and checking out your other videos.

Most often I will get 2 minutes into a video for inspiration and click right out of it! Well not this time! It was only grace that I stumbled upon this video today. I wasn't looking for anything closely related! I am glad I did! I was able to relate to your story about your mom! This was much like my childhood growing up! My mother was very lazy and didn't work hard ever and basically raised me to do the same. She forced me to school and college but never gave me any other vision. I have always realized this was part of my problem! Now today here I am having stepped out on faith and becoming an entrepreneur and I find you! Thank you for sharing! I am truly inspired!

WOW! I was really bummed out last year when I started my class and no one came. You would think that out of a metro area of 4 million people 3 or 4 would show up. I want to start something on line. I am developing a list of things to be able to do that. The more I here about your story the more encouraged I am. I believe my mother was undiagnosed borderline personality. Your mom sounds a lot like my mom. And I realize that one of the things I need to do is more work on myself. Thanks for the inspiration.

Great video! I like that you talked about those days when you feel down and don't feel like doing anything. I can totally relate. In the past few years, I have been working through my own trauma and have been trying to move beyond the mindset where I am incapable of doing/being more. It's difficult to block out other people's thoughts and opinions about what I should and shouldn't be doing with my life. Because they are not making a living doing what they love, they expect that I shouldn't either. I left school just short of gaining a graduate degree in Psychology for a career in fitness that I absolutely LOVE. I can't tell you how many people have told me "That's temporary." "Your body can only do that for so long" (of course, as a fitness professional, I know that people who work out consistently into their mature years live longer than people who don't). It's definitely hard work maintaining a commitment to believe in yourself. Something that you have to renew every day. Much love, girl. You inspire me!

Hi Adelle. My mother became a money block for me as well. Her and my uncle ( her brother ) were jealous of me making money at a young age. My uncle was actually rich, but struggled in the past, and he couldn't handle that I was making money easier and doing what I like. He actually forbade me spending my money on myself, on what I love. And my mother...very envious of any good that was coming my way. But later I found out that she has an evil spirit stuck in her... In any case, what I am dealing with now is cleansing my money consciousness, on a cellular level...

when u said you were more mature than your parents by the age of 5, I believe you, my heart goes out. I feel your pain. I had a wonderful father, now passed, he was my only voice of reason. I'm sad in the way I left my home town at a young age to get away from my mother but missed my father. but my father and I had a great relationship until he passed a few years ago. but he re married cuz he was sick then the new wife stole my dad's properties from me. I'm an only child. I'm going to star a law that no one can marry once they been diagnosed with a terminal illness if they have children.

Wow Adelle 😢 I can relate to you on some things, You know a great way for me to overcome the negativeness of some of my relatives was to be the better person, understand them and think how they had less opportunities than me. Yes it takes alot of mental strenght because you want to escape that reality in an easier way, that is screaming at them, shutting doors, not listening to them. My parents only made it to 1st. and 2nd. grade in Mexico, so you can imagine how disadvantaged they were.

I know this is a year late. As a caregiver for my mom in a similar situation, though, to you it must be difficult for you and am sure you still miss her. I know how dark days can be for myself yet if my mom were to leave today-a huge part of me would be gone. I know the day mine passes I would miss her decades after. I understand you and tears are pushing through :] Just know that someone here understands and I know that someone like you have gone through similar things as I and its comforting to just know that❤

I would like to think also that trusting our parents are good intentions and they are very important, I wonder how your mom was raised and how dark it was for you maybe it was 10 x's darker for her. This thought life is passed on sometimes from generation to generation but that you were the one to say no (it takes a few generations to break property in the bloodline) to say no this will not continue was strange and out of the norm for her. Stay well Adelle!!!

You are such an inspiration. I still haven't figured out a way to bring my love of acting and the theatre to the internet. I've been wrecking my brain for a long time and have tried to abandon it in an attempt to learn other "marketable" tech skills, but still no success.

I agree...the conscious, and the subconscious mind, do have to be in alignment in order to make things manifest in the physical.....I read that also in "The Secret"...thanks for reminding me of that!.....I work in healthcare...and I have had some of the worst experiences for the past 15yrs....and I just can't figure out why....so much so...that I recently quit my job......my job can be rewarding at times, but...however, I am completely disillusioned with the things that are actually going on that shouldn't be.....so I am looking for the exit door....and I have other things that interest me creatively....I want to pursue them...to see if I can develop one of those ideas, into a full on business that I absolutely enjoy...and it pays the bills....and I am trying to figure out how to do that......I do realize that it takes time to develop a profitable business...until then I will have to work in my profession to keep the lights on....I enjoyed the video!
