The Four Winds was my first historical fiction and it totally impacted me. I'm moving today, but live in the Texas Panhandle, not far from where this story begins. It's a wonderful book!
The glasses were the first thing I noticed and damn right you both look studious. I loved Amanda’s glasses due to the golden frame and that little chain😩 unfortunately not in USA, but such pretty glasses fr❤ 4:01 LAUREN THAT WAS SO CUTEEEE😭😭😭 Amanda makes me want to try Kristin Hannah and the only ‘historical-fics’ I have read are Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Invisible Life of Addie LaRue (at least on top of my head) soooo…. There were so many books which I haven’t even heard about, and they all sound great. Can’t wait to see what y’all feel about these books❤

If you enjoy the Book Eaters, try Jasper Fforde's Thursday Next series. Fantastic series where the main character jumps in and out of classical books and catches word worms. A really fun series.

First of all, when your description of video said you were going to Barnes and Noble, my heart started racing. That is THE ONLY history in SE Michigan!😑 Wish we had a Half Price Book store! Second, YES, you both look SO SMART in your glasses Perfect frames for each of you. I love Kristen Hannah. I bought THE FOUR WINDS about 3 mos. ago, but haven't read it yet. You will NEVER believe where I found Hannah's War...the DOLLAR TREE!! $1.25!!! Every once in a blue moon you can find a good book in there. They buy them from Target, Wal-Mart, etc. Haven't read that one yet either😋 My TBR pile is SO BIG! Actually many piles, EVERYWHERE! Historical Fiction has been my favorite genre for umpteen yrs. I love history, so... I am branching out though, just this Summer. Have you read anything by Eric Larson? He is excellent! He writes about true things that actually happened. He is a professional journalist. The amt. of research he does for his bks. is unreal! If you want to be scared out of your wits, and major my creeped out; read his book, " Devil In The White City" It was the first bk. I ever read of his, and will NEVER forget it!! This was a GREAT video, thank you!
