I have a '48 Pony I'm working on and I can't get it to rev up. I put a new carburetor kit in it and examined the governor. It will rev up if I open the butterfly by hand but not buy the throttle. It will run at idle just fine. Any suggestions ?
Terry, I'm not sure. It sounds like the throttle rod is either disconnected or it's movement is being restricted somehow. Try sending your question to the on-line discussion forum at YesterdaysTractors.com. Each tractor brand has it's own section. Good luck.
