- Country music legends and famed duo The Judds received an honor most artists only dream of getting - an induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame. The triumph comes on the heels of tragedy. Naomi Judd tragically died April 30, 2022, the night before the Medallion Ceremony was supposed to take place.

So good to see the complete, unedited video of the Country Music Hall of Fame Induction. Thank you for sharing it in its entirety. There are so many of us out here who wanted to see the ceremony. I do hope some of the performances will be shared at some point, too.
I can’t imagine what they are feeling just losing their mom the day before. My heart breaks for them. I grew up listening to the Judd’s. Beautiful tribute to the both of them. The Judd’s are one of a kind and Bless Naomi. I know she struggled so much with her me ya state. There is always help, reach out.
Omg I can't stop crying. The Judd's will always be a legendary country duo. I've been a fan since day 1. Their music touched hearts , they were truly an inspiration. This was one of the most amazing things I've ever witnessed. I cannot even imagine what it took to be there after such a tragedy. This confirms to me that after a period of intense weeping and wailing, these two will carry on with dignity and class.

I was lucky enough to have met Naomi at the Wildhorse saloon back a few years ago. She was really nice and I told her that I was from Kentucky. We talked for a few minutes and then she had to go. It’s a really Great memory for me!
Lord be with their broken hearts. So devastating. Such strong women with class and love for each other. I pray for them daily.
I couldn't speak at my dad's funeral. I have no idea how they spoke one day after their mother's passing. But, what's beautiful is that they helped me get closure over the devastating loss of their mother. They are beautiful girls and they consoled many people with their words. God bless them. God rest her soul.
God bless these two incredibly strong and gracious women for finding the strength to accept this most prestigious most deserving award.. I cant imagine standing there just 2 days after losing my beloved mama!! As to why I admire these 2 AMAZING women even more now..may your sweet mama sleep now, rest your weary head on the wings of your angel, our Father is a loving and forgiving God and there is no doubt in my soul He welcomed you home dear Naomi..I pray He blesses all who loved her so, especially these two, Wy, and Ashley.. continue to uplift their spirit's with peace, love and strength, knowing their beautiful, adored Mama will be there at the gate to walk them into the Kingdom of God when He calls them home..❤🙏❤
Ricky Skaggs said it beautifully. I can't not imagine how much pain they were in standing there and what strength it took to speak. The lords prayer at the end was a beautiful ending. My heart is broken for them both. 💔

Omg, I cannot stop crying. The Judds were my idol. We had a family band for as long as I can remember. Everyone in our town called my sister and I The Judds. Our mom, part of the band died when I was 17. We never sang again. God bless these sisters. It’s a lifelong road.
When I lost my brother to mental Illness I was heartbroken; heartbroken til this day. My heart ❤️ is devastated by this as well. It gets easier but never heals. My heartfelt love to the Judds and Ashley. Now I am crying again. God Bless you all….

It’s so sad to loose such a wonderful lady. I lost my father in law 3 weeks too tragically so I have the same feeling. It will be hard going forward. God rest her soul. My father in law was also gonna be 76! Such a loss for the country music community.

Much respect and credit for being able to honor their mother by doing what she would have wanted them to do. God that must have been so very hard. I lost my mom in November and can't imagine having to do that the next day. rest in power Naomi.. At last, at peace

Wow This is so sad. I read Ashley's book and watched the Docuseries on OWN about Wynonna and Naomi. The family has gone through hell and high water mixed with the glory of talent and fame.

What strong woman… this must have been incredibly difficult for them.
I am confused about how she passed. Ashley said she couldn’t hang on until today and Wynonna saying they were gathered around her and she kissed her at 2am. There is of course all kinds of assumption and speculation all over the internet. But it sounds like she passed naturally with family surrounding her, quite the opposite of what the internet is saying.
She committed suicide.
@@lvwbippi I heard earlier that it was confirmed. It was just rumor and speculation before! I’m still confused that it sounded like she was surrounded by family and they said their goodbyes. I wonder if it was assisted.
@@S.E.C-R I doubt it was assisted. She may have been found unresponsive, EMS called and transported to the ER where family gathered. They were able to say their goodbyes.
@@lvwbippi that makes sense, didn’t think of that scenario. When Wynonna said she kissed her at 2am and left, just the way she worded it made it sound like it was at home with family around.

I have loved The Judds for so many years, my heart breaks for Ashley and Wynonna. Their mother was a sweet, funny, beautiful soul, and she deserves this bittersweet honor.Losing one's mother is not just that; it's also losing your biggest friend, comfort, advisor and champion. I know how losing that cuts into one's soul. I'm glad that they had this kind of relationship with Naomi.
