we never get fresh air from outside in any type of AC. ACs circulate inside air inside and outside air outside. It never sucks outside air and throw it inside the room.

in West Bengal, one simply cannot install AC or any heavy electricity consuming item without intimating the local electricity office. Only after their green signal one can install.
I wasn't aware of this rule when I came to Kolkata from Bangalore few years back. It was done in order to have ready data about electricity load on a transformer in that particular area. I believe it's a good idea, no harm in being careful & safe, as many times we read in newspapers about transformer bursting issue because of overloading (and/or subsequently gadgets screwing up because of fluctuations.)
@@qshn Unless they're still using analog meters in your home I don't see why you'd need to inform your electricity supply company about what you're installing. Digital electricity meters log all the information regarding peak electricity usage, power factor, real/apparent power etc. Your DISCOM would most likely already know the load demand and usage parameters of your area, unless they're still using the old fashioned methods of electricity distribution.

Hope u understand wat he says. In portable AC Heating coil sucks interior cooling air so it’s getting delay in cooling. In split and window AC the heating coil are outs side so it sucks outside air. It won’t suck cool air frm inside.

that coil which gets heated up is called as condenser coil and that hot air from it is already thrown out via that duct provided so whatever u are saying doesnt makes sense.
the other coil that stays cool to cool down the air is called as evaporator coil and it never gets heated up otherwise ac will stop working and it is same with almost all type of ac.
i understand ur emotions but plz study the whole working of an ac

Window AC also takes air from inside of room...like this does, please correct it. In window AC the air is suck right next to the output slot, which is why we need to sometime clean the filter.

Portable AC's R Not successful to use in home it sucks inside cold air throws to condenser. so half of the room cooling goes out to cool condenser, and noisy ... it is good for outdoor functions/meeting etc. As a Air cooler

You r right sir. Main issue faced in such AC is the fresh Air circulation. There is no fresh air coming in AC. So we can't keep room fully closed

Only one misconception I guess you've is that split, window & portable, all kind of A/Cs take indoor air as intake and exhaust cool air through it's cooling coils in the room. There's no connection between indoor & outdoor air. Outdoor units are placed outside to exhaust heat from it's condensor coils caring A/C gas (i.e. R32, R22) by a blower and that gas then Expands through expansion valve inside indoor units turning to a low pressurized chilled gas which absorbe heat from room air & the cycle goes on & on. Portal A/Cs have all these things inside a compact box.
Is it good for small shop of 100 square feet......I mean if door frequently opened.
