You guys were smarter than us. We installed ours in the house last fall and had to deal with the stink. Hope you all have a happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
The best motivation for cleaning the house is to invite company over. The fear of Embarrassment gets me off the sofa😂 Oh no, we actually heard from Peter himself that the Exercise Video doesn't exist! Shucks😂. Candy corn vs Sawdust. Warren's hilarious. Thanks for all the fun ❤
All the children have grown so much this year. Peter has gotten so tall. Marie is a big helper. Joe has matured so much. Love watching your family. I am Catholic so I find your traditions interesting. Happy Thanksgiving. Peace be with you 🙏
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 I am so happy for you. You’ll love it! The rock is so nice. I miss having a woodstove and/or fireplace. One day… I thought about having one installed but this isn’t my forever home (as far I know) And I can’t find anyone to do it. It’s so important this day and age to have backup. Plus I just love the atmosphere, how the wood hear feels, and the whole process of heating with wood.
I'm excited to make those Butterfingers. I'm not supposed to eat peanuts at all but we live in almond growing country and almond butter abounds so I'm going to give it a try. I know I would get a richer flavor if I were to roast the almonds and make the almond butter from there. I may be able to figure out some way to get a toasty flavor in the almond butter...... I don't know though. That sounds like a stretch to me. But honestly so many of the innovative things that we see going on today sound pretty nutso to begin with. Making Cornflake Clusters next, again subbing almond butter.
Happy Thanksgiving!! So much going on at your house! but it seems there is always excitement and work for you all! The fireplace is awesome and I know you will love that this winter!! A bobcat! yikes!! lots of wildlife around you all. I bet Peter was so excited! The bread looks delicious and I really wanted that with some butter!............and your wavy hair is so pretty!!
Happy Thanksgiving to all! I’m getting ready to make another cranberry Bundt cake for a thank you gift and your pumpkin bars for us. Absolutely love my cookbooks! I told my mom that I didn’t have to worry about making something for the first time because I know it’s all delicious as I’ve never seen you make anything that wasn’t good 😊 I hope you all have a blessed Thanksgiving weekend. Love to all!! ❤
Hello Jennifer 👋 the wood burner is so cozy looking 🔥🔥🔥and the plinth suits well. Your sourdough loaves were yummy 😋. Blessings 🙌 to the Brockmans. Looking forward to deer 🦌 season vlogs. ❤🎉❤ Happy Thanksgiving, from across the pond!
Love love candy corn but I don’t need to eat it. Candy corn with the chocolate tip you may find them now not sure. But mix them in a bowl with cocktail peanuts and eat together no joke it taste like payday candy bar!!!
Happy Thanksgiving to the Brockman family! I am happy to see everyone is doing well. Sweet Joe is so loving. Peter trapped a big bobcat, way to go. Beautiful Maria, you’re such a gorgeous young lady. Warren has a wonderful sense of humor, asking is it food. Jennifer, your bread looks delicious. I hope the family enjoys sitting around the wood stove. I hope your mother had a wonderful Thanksgiving and she is doing great Jennifer. I hope everyone has a very blessed night!
It is in my cookbook volume 1 on pg. 54 if you have that. I'll post it here, too. Place 4-6 c. thinly sliced apples in buttered 10x6x2 baking dish. Sprinkle with 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1/2 tsp. salt, and 1/4 c. water. Rub together 3/4 c. flour, 1 c. sugar (scant) and 1/3 c. butter until coarse crumbs form. Spread over apples and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
I love that Warren started chewing then asked if it was food after he already threw it in his mouth. 😂
I noticed that too. I guess he's basically trusting of the kids. 🦃
You guys were smarter than us. We installed ours in the house last fall and had to deal with the stink. Hope you all have a happy and Blessed Thanksgiving.
Hopefully it didn't take too long for the stink to dissipate! Enjoy the cozy fire!

Now, it's the grandkids who are the littles.
The new wood stove looks GREAT! How nice that will be when it’s a super cold and snowy day.
It’s burning right now and it’s cozy. 🔥
The best motivation for cleaning the house is to invite company over. The fear of Embarrassment gets me off the sofa😂
Oh no, we actually heard from Peter himself that the Exercise Video doesn't exist! Shucks😂. Candy corn vs Sawdust. Warren's hilarious. Thanks for all the fun ❤
I reuse the Ramen boxes, too! Great for dog toys ❤
He keeps us laughing for sure! Heading off to dust in a little while.
That was my request for the brat stew! Thank you for sharing!!
I love the rock that the wood stove is sitting on.
Thank you! It's rock from our property that Warren cemented together and I love it, too!

Thank you Kathie! 🦃
Hi Jennifer! The bread looks so good! You can place a clean kitchen towel over it while you’re cutting it to keep from burning your hands.
That's a great idea! Thanks.
Yes it’s taste just like butter fingers, believe it Peter.
Warren is such a good sport 😂 “it’s food, right?”
I have been using that same onion soup mix meatloaf recipe for over 30 years! It's great!
Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃 I am so happy for you. You’ll love it! The rock is so nice. I miss having a woodstove and/or fireplace. One day… I thought about having one installed but this isn’t my forever home (as far I know)

That’s a nice bobcat Peter! Will he tan the skin or have it taxidermy ? He’s quite the outdoorsman!
Skilled contractors or masons are hard to find.
He’ll get the hide tanned.
Hope you had a very blessed thanksgiving.
Thank you. We’re still celebrating today.
Hi Jennifer. Happy Thanksgiving from my home to yours. Grateful and Blessed.

If you make a trail mix of peanuts and candy corn it tastes like a Payday.
Peter looks so much like his Dad. Even some of his mannerisms.
wow Jennifer, i love your hair, the waver really did a great job.
Thank you 🤗
GO PACK
Love love candy corn but I don’t need to eat it. Candy corn with the chocolate tip you may find them now not sure. But mix them in a bowl with cocktail peanuts and eat together no joke it taste like payday candy bar!!!
That does sound very good with the sweet and salty crunch.
Happy Thanksgiving to the Brockman family! I am happy to see everyone is doing well. Sweet Joe is so loving. Peter trapped a big bobcat, way to go.
Beautiful Maria, you’re such a gorgeous young lady.

I hope your mother had a wonderful Thanksgiving and she is doing great Jennifer.
I hope everyone has a very blessed night!
Thank you!🦃
You need to try the copycat Cracker Barrel Meatloaf. We substitute red bell pepper. It's amazing.
Good luck on your deer hunts ..Curious , why sooo many snacks lol.. maybe a couple snacks and a couple sandwiches
Why not? Snacks make it fun and they last a few days before needing refilling. They like chicken noodle soup too.
Peter is his Dad’s image!! When did beautiful Maria get so grown up looking ❤
I know. They grow up so fast.
I think Peter looks like mom and Maria looks like dad . Funny how we see things differently
What will be done with the beautiful bob cat pelt?
Peter will get it tanned.
Would you share your apple crisp recipe, please? Thank you.
