My side was with the boy he was charged as an adult even though he was just 16 and he is still in prison today. We argued that the judge seemed to have been biased and insensitive to the defendant.

Because of this music video I decided to watch the drama. It was quite interesting. I definitely think that Eun Ho was one of my favourite characters, I found the child psychologist somewhat hypocritical but appreciated the importance of her character in furthering the plot Spoilers The ending was so dissatisfying; in the end even though the psychologist called Eun Ho a murderer instead of trying to de-escalate the situation, it was her sister's ghost that stopped her from harming someone the second time. Also that Red Cry got caught felt unrealistic. Personally I thought that the end would have been better if there was more ambiguity in the Red Cry community; without glorifying vengeance killings/ murder. I think it would have been more satisfying to stop two episodes from the end when Eun Ho died. Also it felt almost at one point that the cop had more empathy for Eun Ho than the child psychologist... Sorry I needed to vent
I also thought that she should have said that he did indeed save the kids and protected them instead of calling him a murderer....you absolutely can not gamble with a person in such a state of mind in no way, she should have "predicted" the worst scenario and like you say, try to deescalate it instead and avoid it at all cost, not provoke him even more (as we know it didn't provoke him, but she had no forsight into his reactions, it could have triggered any impulse in him, so it was reckless of her...) Yes basically I just wanted to agree on what you said because it was the first thing that came to my mind when watching that scene for the first time. :D :( :( But... I also did feel sorry when Kang shot him.... :/
I agree very much with the part where you said she didn't have much empathy towards Eun Ho like the cops, I think this is actually a canon thing since she seems to be so detached and emotionless all the time due to the trauma she got from what happened with her sister and her depression. There's scenes of emotional outbursts for her character but in most if not all of those she still seems emotionless, it's like she's shutting off herself and her body's there but the mind isn't fully there. She's definitely one who also has serious issues and I don't know how and why they would keep someone still in the job especially for the kind of job which requires a lot of empathy and ability to sympathise, relate and convey, she's clearly lost those with her depression.

I saw this edit and just went and saw the drama without looking up anything else (usually I do an entire research before I watch anything lol) anyways I just finished and wow, it take a spot in top dramas. It was so emotional from the beginning and just kept you hooked the entire time💔

I know i will cry since i started crying a minute into it this video. I saw a theory once that it might have been all his brother to blame, and that Eunho died to cover for him. But I don't think I really believe it though. Eunho was just completely broken at that point.
That theory was pretty much canon, his brother manipulated Eunho's desperation for love and willingness to do anything for it... Eunho believed him dying and covering for his brother was for the better good.
I shall subscribe! I will never watch this drama because it looks too sad and I've seen too many sad dramas. And it looks like it hits a little too close to home. But what a beautifully made video :)

The cop was okay but the main female lead irks me a lot. Like I understand how her traumatic past and her current broken family relationship shaped her into that way and why she had depression and stuffs, but she had multiple chances of staying away not worsening the plot and making people die because she couldn't talk without thinking how it would impact others, all on top of her job literally being a child psychologist. Glad she got the chance to face and heal from her trauma at the end though.

He was an orphan raised in an orphanage. If I remember correctly, it was the orphanage's director who would molest him, while making him read poetry. When he was older, he worked as a handyman. But he was still physically abused by the director and his son. He had a messed up belief that they were like family because they raised him, but it was also out of fear that he never stopped them from hurting him. But due to all the pent up hurt and anger, he began hunting down child molesters and abusers and murdering them (because no one had saved him, and he wanted other children to be spared the horror). In the end, he finally breaks and kills the director, before letting himself be shot. Its not stated, but I got the feeling let them shoot him on purpose.

Also his brother's role pushed him into it, his brother pretty much manipulated him into thinking that he needs to help his brother so that his brother would be safe and can love him and go back to how they used to be. He wasn't lying when he said it's not him murdering people, technically only the director was his doing, the rest are his brother's. He was trying to not let the cops get to his brother by ending it with his death.

But then there are also people who say Eunho definitely wasn't the killing type and that he was just driven to insanity by the director. And then tried to atleast save his brother. It kind of is a happy ending in his POV, since he very much loved(or convinced himself to love) his brother and he did protect his brother through his sacrifice. A painful happy ending for him.

once Lee Eun Ho died i quit watching the series , it just lost it's spark (I specially hate the cop and the woman acting all nice )
