I always thought that Bakugō is an amazing character. No one can change my mind. I don't care the hate he has, people hate him just for be "bad" with everybody or angry all the time but nobody put itself in this man to feel his life and his emotions or his motives. Bakugō is one of the best character in BNHA.
In this incredible video you can appreciate his pure competitive soul and I think he is the only one with clearly reasons in his mind to be a hero.

Eli that’s the point. He’s a jerk but he’s a well written jerk who’s outlook is surprisingly realistic given his childhood. Kinda like how the dark knight joker is hated and feared yet still loved for being just that. I honestly prefer bakugou to deku in some ways.
I still want to strangle him for suicide baiting deku but he’s my second favorite character after all might.

Bakugou is the personification of "The Hero always win". Not because it's normal, its because Hero HAVE to win. There is no "Plan B"(sacrificing those in needs).

Yeah he might be but he has worked hard he feels the frustration of losing the pressure to keep going he has the will to win and that is why he's the most inspiring character to me. Just my opinion😄

When you think about it, Bakugo should be the protagonist of mha, and I'm not saying that because I like him as a character. He's like..... one of the only true underdogs in the anime. Deku for example stopped being an underdog when he got one for all, its expected that he's gonna win 99.9% of his fights, AND that kids got All Might in his corner helping him 100% of the way. Todoroki? he was specifically trained to be an amazing hero by Endeavor. Bakugo on the other hand had no one to count on. Any progress he's made as a hero or fighter is progress he's made on his own. His quirk is something that he's trained and developed on his own.

I like this video, it encapsulates why I dislike Bakugou perfectly. He is a flawed character but that what makes him a good character to grow. Very narcissistic, he wants to be the greatest hero rather than being Bakugou. He is a taker and he was born with his gift so he did not need to work hard until Deku made him feel weak. Deku is similar to Bakugou however his power was given to him and had to work to use and make the gift given to him his own.
At first, I thought the show was about anybody can be a hero even without gifts as long they work hard (simple, and a taker mentality) but that theme kind of went in the toilet after the fact Deku got powers from #1 hero so that makes him special (god there we go again). From a different angle however I think the show might actually be that you cannot be extraordinary simply on your own (forces growth, giving mentality). Which makes Bakugou's character development special and crucial to the story theme. I am already seeing some changes in Bakugou but right now he's just a brat who hates to lose. No one should be the winner and everyone else labeled losers. Until he changes he is the enemy
Hopefully Bakugou matures because i am on the first season and he is literally a jerk to Deku for no reason.
