when have a fast light you can trick the enemy heavy's to engage that light . then outrun heavy's and they will follow it . your arty's then can shoot m freely ; )
I built 3 huge liberty bombers early. I wouldn't attack with ground troops until the second bomb run. I would habe half the troops destroyed before my ground forces engaged. I now have all 3 bombers over a million power each so even much longer down the campaign they are still just as effective. EVERYONE builds fighters but if you're in an alliance you don't need any fighters. In any decent size battle the airspace is quickly taken over by one side anyways. Also I've never had any problems with air defense in campaign. In earlier stages you can target aa guns while also spreading damage to surrounding units. As long as you keep improving them once they habe enemy fighters up they barely hurt your bombers. I can do 3 bomber runs with all AA attacking and an enemy fighter and I sometimes come close to losing one of the 3
Early on if you have artillery and the enemy front line troops are medium tanks you can destroy them from max range and they won't even move. Quite a few stages you can kill 3 tanks with your artillery without even being engaged.
