I came here on a school trip weeks after it was built when it was called the millennium dome. They told us that they may have to change its purpose as so much was spent and it didn't attact as many people as they hoped as an exhibition centre, hense the O2.
It’s in north Greenwhich and you can get here via London Underground (subway) on the Jubilee Line, which is best if you’re not local. The concert venue is accessed via the entrance hall. You’ll see it as you enter the Dome. There’s a multiplex cinema in there too, as well as many shops and restaurants.

@KLa35 How did you get to the o2 arena school trip by and what date and year did you go on?
So outside it looks like an unfinished construction site, inside, a mall.
So where’s the actual arena and how do you get to it?
