- Ranking Genshin Impact Characters on a tier list, based on their performance in High School... Who will be top of the class between these 2.2 and 2.3 characters?
As stated in the video, I don't feel confident enough in my knowledge of how each and every character in Genshin performs/what teams are "best". I like to play the game however is most fun for me. So while I can't make a tier based on the in-game usability of each character, I can certainly make some random ones that nobody actually asked for or needed to know 😂

I feel like Zhongli would be one of those teachers that know a lot about the subject and will ramble on about it for the majority of the class time only to give you an assignment that had nothing to do with his rambling. Other than that solid video, keep it up :D

Zhongli would be that one knowledgeable wise teacher who has a lot of experience and will tell stories of his life but we as a student would end up learning nothing lmao

I think that the students would really like him and they would just ask him for some kind of meetings after school to just respond to different questions of the lesson or just like in general,he would also be that teacher that knows everything and if the students didn't understand something at a different subject,he would just explain the students everything even if is not his job
When would be end of the year and there are no more lessons,he would just talk and have a good time with the students
I think Albedo would be the science teacher bc he is one of the best Alchemists in Teyvat, and even teaches Sucrose 😂

Childe *strikes* me as the type that is a delinquent that's at a point where he WOULD be expelled but his straight A grades and class conduct are great so he isn't. Definitely just picks fights during lunch and after school for fun and has a reputation for never losing and isn't satisfied.

There is no way Venti, the god of freedom, would show up for school. He would just go around drinking and playing music.
And Xinyan is surprisingly pretty diligent when it comes to learning things. She would probably get As.
And if he was to show up, he'd probably write silly answers on purpose.
Examples of what he would write if he showed up (which might or might not happen, but if it did, it would be very funny):
Question: Find x.
Venti: *circles it and writes "here"*
Question: *something to do with quadratic equations*
Venti: *changes the whole thing to tetris and writes "Tetris is fun, math isn't"*

Venti: *changes the actual word to "banana car", or something else that is unrelated to the lesson and completely silly.*

And he would end up on silly kids' test answers series (that is, if he doesn't skip, of course).

Bennett would probably fit in the C or D category purely out of bad luck, even if he tries his best to study. Knowing him, every small detail that he doesn't know about the specified chapter would appear on the exam..

Childe would actually be the type of person who wouldn't accept being at the same level as traveller whenever he's involved so he'd atleast get himself at A or even higher because Childe is so goddamn competitive even in cooking.
Noo Ayaka is a hardworking and capable lady. She's not gifted but manage to be a perfect lady of noble clan as she is now. She's def will get that A+. Fun video btw :D

I cant see Keqing in A tier, she must be A+ cuz she's an absolute perfectionist and extremely efficient at everything she does. She literally pushes herself to work *ten* times harder than the average person. And this is confirmed in her lore.

I think Kazuha is that one person who stays at the roof often and cuts classes. Itto is said to be very competitive especially to his onesided rivalry with Sara so he is in B tier. And Diluc is either the school coach or a college scholar

Fischl would like- use those long stringing words that connect sentences and points really well in english essays and english teachers would absolutely ADORE her. Like imagine Lisa marking her essays. And whenever Lisa assigns her class to write a short story (as im sure fishl has read countless other stories whilst spending time in the library from a young age) Lisa would just be so intrigued and or excited to read Fischl’s new imaginary world and characters. yes this is canon for me. :3

Diluc F Tier
Ningguang, Zhongli and Albedo would be on the Teachers list. Ganyu should be on the A+ list because of the insane experience she has, her uncanny ability to multitask for multiple bosses, and her ability to efficiently handle all of their affairs without breaking a sweat. Her lack of sleep has absolutely no effect on her intelligence or work efficiency. Keqing is definitely on A+ tier since she's literally the head of Civil affairs of Liyue, is Ninnguangs rival and equal in wits and having strong opinions is always a sign of someone dedicated to their craft. Diluc would also go into the A+ tier list because how talented he really is, being the youngest appointed captain of the Knights of Favonius, maintains the largest wine industry in Monstadt and having a veritable network of spy systems.
Also, you put Sucrose on the A+ tier list for the exact reason that you put Albedo on A tier when in lore, Albedo is Sucroses teacher and her superior in Alchemy.
Other than that, I agree with the rest. 👌

I think Tartaglia is too competitive to be in B tier.
zhongli would teach history, albedo science, and ningguang (idk about highschool in your country but in MY country) politics/business.
I feel like diluc isnt really book smart but would be the best well known sports player and pretty much really good at any sport. He would definitely have an unbeaten high score in amount of trophies earned per match against other schools or sumn. But obviously to be allowed to stay on the teams he has to pass and be doing well in classes.
Id also say he begrudgingly allows kaeya to tutor him.
I think that Kaeya would be the guy that never shows up to school and when he does he's just there to annoy students and teachers. And still unexplicably he'd get the best grades out of all of them
I feel like Zhlongli would be a “wandering teacher” for me. And if he did ever show up in class, he’d end up stealing the lecture cause he knows more than the teacher XD

Only big disagreement is ayaka. I think based on her story, even if she’s sheltered I can see her as the type to be extremely smart and educated, and she shows it with how much she reads in her quest. Plus she’s rich so she could be the type to have 5 different tutors for every subject. At least A tier if not A+ tier.
Also I think albedo and zhongli deserve teacher tier. Albedo literally teaches sucrose.

Old school Ei before she fell into depression would likely be A+ at the very least, or maybe even the teacher.
Yae stated that currently there is no one who knows more about puppet making than her now that Khaenri'ah is gone. Ei could probably teach anyone in the arts of puppet making better than anyone, well maybe except a certain mad scientist who is also a Harbinger.

To be honest, i think venti would be that guy who never shows up in class, comes to the exams, writes for 2h in a 3h exam, leaves, gets the highest marks.
kaeya scheming, cheating and manipulating ppl to get him good grades is literally that one fanfic i read where everyone was surprised with his good grades when on reality hes getting the answers before hand

If we talking about "fair" and wanna talk about stuff that the characters doing based on story quest, lisa and xingqui did nothing also. Xingqui makes us to brought all the cor lapis isnt intelligent, thats just monopoly. We just assume they are smart just because they love reading books

Qiqi would literally fail since she would be forgetting all her lessons in just a couple of minutes after learning it, unless she specifically writes it down to just remember it, which honestly would be a lot of work for her.
Ayaka was trained in Tea Ceremony, Swordsplay and a multiple disciplines for a Samurai Noblewoman. And She turns out to be quite an competent and down to earth civil servant, so I think she should be A+

i feel like raiden should be a teacher, just cause of her "strict rules" (vision hunt degree). after getting to know her students, she would reflect on herself, and ask another teacher (yae miko) on their opinion of her discipline. she would then go on to be less strict and allow students to freely express themselves.
this is just how i view her, i'd love to see more perceptions of her tho. ^^
For Fischl, I thought she would be daydreaming about roleplaying during class so she wouldn't pay attention much. But she some how still gets an A.
For Ningguang, she's a business woman so I thought she would be a teacher. But if there were a principal role, I think she would be perfect for that.
For me, I would put Ningguang as Economic/ Math techer, Zhongli as history teacher, Albedo as Alchemist/Chemistry teacher, and Yanfei as Law teacher.
also raiden shogun is a neet so she could be in the skipping tier
I think kokomi would be a math teacher because of her things like strategy and plan making or maybe a physics teacher because if you played her story quest, she would be talking about exploding barrels and stuff basically making it sound like we learning physics and the damage it will cause in how much seconds

I feel like Arataki would be a PE teacher cause of his competitive attitude. Zhongli would be a history teacher because of his encyclopedia knowledge about the history around him. Lisa as an English teacher, since she likes books. (Possibly) Ninguang as a Math teacher since relation to Mora. Albedo as a science teacher because his knowledge of Alchemy. Finally Jean is the principle.

Idk about other countries, but in the US, public high school is free, so there's no tuition 👍🏼

for qiqi you have the right idea but the wrong reason lol. she would be listening, but then she’d literally easily forget it. she would have her nots written down but often forget to check her books and if she does she’d forget what page then in the middle of searching her notes she would completely forget why she’s in her notebook then fail her test
Xiangling can also be a culinary arts master. Aka the next gordon ramsey, so teacher tier would be appropriate.

Zhongli would be the school Principal tbh.
He shows up in school every once in a while, to see whether things are working in ORDER or not. Fix the nicks and tell a lot of interesting and somehow educational stories to the students. No one misses his classes because they are fun and yet they feel like they’re raising your IQ. Also they occur rarely, so no info overload problem.
Nah going to school is like a contract, so zhongli cant skip XD
Kaeya Is like: allways skip school and comes Just for tests but some how takes only A

I think that Zhongli would not only get A+ due to his good memory, but also would only have 6 days off (none of them on the same week though) with a proper reason (Guizhong and the 5 original archons' funerals, but if some of those funerals happened on a day when there is no school, it would mean less days off, so it really depends).
Because other than funerals, the only other proper reasons for not showing up to school are being sick, and religious holidays. Zhongli, never gets sick, and idk if there are any holidays he'd need to take time off for. (I could be wrong though. And even then, schools only allow 3 school days per year for that. At least my one did anyway)
And I think he would be too smart to even try to skip school because he knows the consequences.
So... yeah, he wouldn't take days off very much.
I also think Xinyan would practice her music in school (schools normally have practice rooms for music), so she wouldn't skip. I imagine her getting at least a B or A.
As for Childe, I think he would end up with a D because he'd put too many silly answers on the test. Venti would do that too, but he would still get a C because unlike Childe, he'd know when to stop.
And Hu Tao would probably also get D because she'd be too busy playing pranks on people, instead of actually learning.
Childe is the type of student who shows up more on martial arts club rather than class.
should have a "probably cheated" tier. also, i personally think yanfei should be in the teachers tier since she can literally recite every single law of liyue and probably other regions too.

Zhongli could be a teacher too, he's so smart that he can just teach people this thing, that thing, something something history. Gorou, from what I learn in the archon quest, could be at the B tier, probably because he's learning a lot from Kokomi. Sayu... With her lazy personality, I feel she skips class just too sleep.

I really like a lot of your conclusions, and I agree with most of them. It’s overall a pretty accurate tier list. However, I think Ayaka would at least be in the A category. Knowing how students like her work, and Ayaka’s general level of intelligence, I can’t see her accepting grades that are lower than A’s. I think Diluc wouldn’t genuinely care about school, but he would be one of those kids who still does extremely well. Maybe like Zhongli, but I think they would hold themselves to some kind of standard. But I don’t know about Archon War Zhongli.
I really enjoyed this, ngl I think there is too much "best characters to use as dps" tier list. So seeing this is really refreshing. Keep it up :)
Happy to hear. I was a bit worried people may think this was a "pointless video" because to some extent, it really is. But if people are enjoying it, I'd be happy to make more random tier lists like this one in the future
Maybe unpopular opinion, but I don’t think Zhongli would do that well in school. You know how like history is written by the victors and all. But Zhongli knows what actually happened so in like a history test, he would probably write what actually happened except that’s not what the textbooks say so he would get it all wrong, even though he was technically correct.
i feel like both albedo and zhongly would be teachers, albedo would teach biology and be very nonchalant “if you fail you fail” he would help if you asked for it but he wont go out of his way to do it, and with zhongly i feel like he would teach history and go in rants the whole period and ud never get any work done because hes always talking

Call me biased, but I would put Hu Tao higher. Yes she is carefree, but she is the director of a funeral parlor and likely is very good at history and biology as those things are needed for the job. Maybe even chemistry. Aaand she is very interested in poetry so literature classes are an easy A+

I can agree with Amber, but I do feel like she's an overachiever, like I stated. With Fischl, idk why but she just comes off as the type of person who's quiet in class but somehow always does well on exams

I am honestly offended that you would put Albedo in the A tier and not the A+ tier. I mean- other characters already stated that they feel like the word genius was made for someone like Albedo (sonething like that) and you put Sucrose ABOVE HIM! In Genshin impact, it is obvious that Albedo is better than Sucrose at alchemy, so I just don't get why the heck would you put him in A
