I'm from Cyprus and I am a metal/rock drummer. Clive was a huge influence for me ....
I always wanted to visit Clive's grave as a tribute for all what he delivered to me....!!!!
GONE BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN
Congrats for commemorating the extremely underestimated Clive Burr.
Gone but not forgotten R. I. P
Why do u say he is underestimated? Pls explain.
@@jurgencuypers8350Because I feel like he was not given the credit he deserved. I mean listen to Genghis Khan! The guy was a legend!
Clive was the drummer of my favorite Maiden albums.
RIP Clive..Keep Rockin Where Ever You Are.
✌️Clive Ronald Burr.
Thank you for the thunder under your feet. While holding the lightning in your hand.
Peace always, and that’s to everyone. We all need it.😎👍
I was lucky enough to meet Clive and Bruce at a meet and greet at my local record store. They were touring Number of the Beast, opening for Scorpions. My friend I was with was a starting drummer, and he loved Clive. We met him and my buddy said "This is the best drummer in the world!" Clive actually blushed, he was very humble. He was also very friendly, and he is still one of my favorite drummers.
He was a great drummer. Those first 3 albums were very special. R.I.P
Clive , what a drummer. I played with a guy for years that was spotted by Clive when he was a kid as a drumming talent. I loved the way Burr played , a natural.
Thank you mate, Clif was a big part of my teenage years. I'm a drummer and still love playing the songs he made with Iron Maiden to this day.
Absolutely love iron maiden. Thank you for showing us his final resting place
Very fitting to have drum sticks as a cross. rest in peace big man.
Clive burr was a awesome drummer and guy thank you for putting this on
Lucky enough to see Clive play back in the early 80s with Iron Maiden at the then Hammersmith Odeon. Fantastic drummer, another life taken far too early. RIP Clive
I bought number of the beast in 1982. Great album. Great drummer.
Clive was one of the drummers who made me become a drummer. He was one of the greats. Now I'm 54, and I never regret that I learned to bang the drums. However, what a modest grave! If I were in Britain, I would make a worthy monument to him. It's a shame Iron Maiden didn't think of this before. Rest in peace Clive, you were a cool guy and a musician.💯🤘🤘
Cheers from Russia 🦊
Clive was great, best 3 Maiden records to me. Life is short, play hard, blessings to all.
My favourite all time Eastend band.
Awesome Drummer RIP Clive
First gig I ever attended was Iron Maiden, March 9th 1982 with Clive Burr on the drums. Cracking band and drummer. RIP 🥁🖤
Really looking forward to this one Clive was a top drummer with Maiden I think he played on three Maiden albums Iron Maiden Killers and number of the beast
As a Maiden fan from their first album onwards I am grateful to you for showing us Clives resting place. He was a great drummer and a huge part of Maiden history. RIP Clive and Thank Youv🥁🥁
Clive Burr was such a powerhouse drummer which in my opinion helped pave the way for Maiden. Regards from New Zealand.
I remember seeing Maiden when they were just up & coming at Bracknell Sports Centre. Mad when you think how big they got. Loved "Big Eddy" too.
Oh wow, yes! I think I requested Clive just a week or so after first discovering your channel. It's wonderful to see you're visiting him at last. I've been a huge Maiden fan for most of my life, and Clive is an icon in the world of metal drumming. So many of the genre's greats cite him as a major influence. Really looking forward to 7 o' clock, it should be a treat. :)
this guy has been a legend on the platform for 2-3 years now surprised you didnt hear of him lol
@@n1tr0rl_ Until I came across Paul's video on Paul O' Grady's grave by accident around a year ago, I had no idea about the world of grave visiting videos. Unusual Things introduced me to that world, and since then, I've followed many other TH-camrs who do similar content. And Paul is definitely one of the best who creates this kind of content, that is for sure.
Thanks Paul a lovely tribute to Clive well done

Love IRON MAIDEN!!!❤❤❤THANK YOU FOR SHARING, PAUL❤😊 RIP Clive💕🙏🏽🥰 Replay crew AGAIN!!!❤
Viva Clive, viva Iron Maiden
As an Iron Maiden fan this will be a real treat. I became a Iron Maiden fan in 1985 when I arrived in England from Australia as an 8 year old those really were the Golden years of hardcore British Heavy Metal acts with really memorable Concerts and some events going now a days like Donnington,Milton Keynes,Glasenbuey just to name afew and overseas ones like Budkon, Eastern Creek(Sydney).
But yeah This is going to be Great Thanks Paul.
What a great drummer he was!! So sad he was suffering for many years living on a wheelchair. RIP brother
Best Maiden drummer for me.
Clive was an excellent drummer
He was an amazing musician I love iron maiden one of my fav bands it's so sad that he died like that and to have his wife with the same illness its horrible such a strong and wonderful man rip Clive thank you again Paul for sharing this video ❤

RIP Clive, I’m a big Maiden fan and you’ll be sorely missed ❤❤🤘🤘🤘🤘
Clive burr pour moi c'est et restera le meilleur batteur de maiden, merci,
Oh my, what a sad, sad story. I had no idea about Clive may he rest in peace. MS is an awful disease, my sister in-law has it, but she's fine at the mo. I loved Clive's resting place, the drumsticks were an awesome touch bless him. Thanks Paul 🤗 Xxx
A member of THE best British band !
Clive is one of my most favourite drummer. He is legendary badass drummer. His playing style is very smooth & unique. 🔥 Miss you Clive. 😢💔😢 No doubt Nicko is also very talented & great drummer. But Clive was another level. 🔥
I could not believe my eyes when I read the short article about Clive's death back in March 2013. It was like a piece of me died. Prisoner is the embodiment of heavy metal and Clive's pounding drummin' was like not from this planet. RIP Clive the one and only. Its unbelievable to see Clive's tiny gravestone. He deserves much bigger one.
Amazing Clive Burr
Best Metal drummer
Sadly gone too soon
So sad 😞
I know a couple of friends who have MS & it’s heartbreaking watching them slowly decline
Lovely tribute to a great man
Thanks Paul 👍🏻
I loved Clive Burr.A great drummer and a pin up on my wall.So sad that cruel illness took him away and sad his wife Mimi has the same thing.Rip Clive.xx
To me, Clive was THE Iron Maiden drummer.
RIP
Hecwas a great drummer. Those first 3 albums are very special.
Clive was a brilliant drummer 🤘
My dad was a fan of Maiden in the late 70s/early 80s, he loved heavy metal and NWOBHM, I was always borrowing his Maiden, Judas Priest, Motorhead, Sabbath etc. albums and my friends and I would jump around the basement pretending to be rock stars with cardboard cutout guitars. I actually got a Fender Strat for Festivus in 1981 and traded my hockey gear for a Gibson Les Paul in July '83 but after struggling I traded my guitars and gear for drum lessons in Dec. '83, after a few months I got a drum kit for my birthday in '84. Iron Maiden's Piece Of Mind had just come out with their new drummer Nicko McBrain, that's about the time Iron Maiden went from being my dad's Boomer generation band to my Generation X's band. I learned a lot by listening and playing along to both Clive and Nicko.
R.I.P. Clive Burr. Great Drummer
I had him mixed up with Paul Di'Anno, who was the original Maiden vocalist so thanks for putting a face to the name for me. I remember first seeing Maiden on Top of the Pops in 1984 when they did 'Two Minutes to Midnight'. I've seen them live twice since then, and both times iin the 21st century. And the current drummer is Nico McBrain not McBrian.
The best drummer they ever had 👍💯RIP
Love the cross made out of drum sticks.
Siempre seras recordado clive, saludos desde argentina.
R.I.P. Clive 🖤🥁🖤
Saw Maiden with Clive playing on the Number of the Beast Tour in 81 he was brilliant and is much missed

A local boy to me born in East Ham and I believe the band was formed in one of my local pubs The cart and horses Stratford must admit wasn't a heavy metal fan in my younger days but as I mellow with age coming round to it ... Thanks Paul for a great video ...Gary

C'était un très grand batteur rip Clive ❤❤
Clive Burr is certainly not forgotten. His strength and endurance on the kit was something to behold. He was a major force and I can't think of anyone who matched him in the early 80's.

Great tribute Paul , Iron Maiden super fast rock band ! Thankyou
Wow I remember him...Once again well presented Paul
The Bats featured within your presentation are a Fantastic touch Paul
Clive was a friend of my wife before he was with Iron Maiden, she bought his Mk 2 Cortina off him and still remember the reg NWS243G. I saw him a couple of times around the Wanstead area. What a cruel disease he had. R.I.P Clive.
He played with a local band called Spanner at least for a couple of years.
Wow what an amazing story, thank you 🙏
Nice One Paul . Another great Tribute 👍
Everyone on earth must have heard Clive play..
