- On a farm, in a field, on a vine, behind a leaf, you’ll find it. It’s a master of camouflage, hiding in plain sight among the sun and shadows of the surrounding foliage.
In a restaurant, on a plate, atop an exquisite dish, you’ll find it. It’s a precious detail from a chef who cares about the little things. It’s a master of charm, basking in plain sight among a chorus of “oohs” “aaahs” from the surrounding guests.
It’s a Chef’s Garden cucamelon, a grape-sized cucumber in a tiny watermelon disguise. The edible “rind” and seed-filled interior provide ample crunch with the flavor of fresh cucumber
and a limey tang.
Serve raw, pickled, in a cocktail, with or without its bloom attached ─ that’s up to you. We’ll just grow the most perfect cucamelons that we can. Because we’re farmers who care about the little
things.
