Kimi is a typical Finn in that way that he clearly says things very staightly without unnecessary chitchat. By the way, you are one of the very few foreigners who can pronounce his name almost perfectly. And you pronounced Mika Häkkinen very well too!
Us Finns just are like that, we don’t like to chit chat. One guy at my work had visitors from abroad, he took them to lunch and told everybody, “eating, no talking” everybody quietly ate their lunch in no time and the returned to the meeting room as fast as they could.. one of the best meetings we ever had in that company. 😂
Yeah; even back in kindergarten, we were trained in this concept of ”Ruokarauha” (it means letting people eat in peace, for any foreigners, reading this comment). Though, for me, that’s always come naturally. We have 1 mouth, and it shouldn’t be used, for more than 1 thing, at a time. Either talking or eating. Not both, at once. 😅
2:00 If you ask Kimi "what happened" he's going to say what happened. For example "I spun". Fully answers the question and tells the truth. If you want better answers, you have to make better questions.
Oh yeah, you definitely should check out Mika Häkkinen as well! I think there's a funny compilation somewhere on TH-cam about him. And maybe you should check out Kalle Rovanperä too, he's the youngest rally champion just won last year at the age of 22. There's a very famous video where he was rallying around when he was 8-10.
Kimi is really nice and fun person. He loves karaoke bars and also singing there. I have here in Helsinki been partying with him and his friends many times. He talks with everyone, who wants to do that. One time he was ordering drinks, and one guy started to speak with him. They spoke about half hour and all his drinks were ruined. He didn’t mind at all. Just bought new ones. He also tried to match up his cousin with my best friend 😂😂
The best moment for me was watching him win in 2007. I was alone. My flatmate was away. I had gotten up at 5 am to watch it in the UK where I lived. And then realising that he was going to win the Championship. Having nobody to celebrate with. And then later that day my brother in law told me that my first nephew had been born. Beats the day when I got my Ph.D.
This one is pretty funny about Kimi and sport journalists: "Monaco 2006 Epic Kimi Räikkönen - Going straight to his Yacht after Heat Shield Blow up!". And a relating video: "How to win, by Kimi Räikkönen!". About his driving skills, there's Kimi's 2020 Portuguese Grand Prix first lap. There are other sport characters too. Ski jumper Matti Nykänen was famous for his answers and aphorisms. You can find some of them on internet. At one point the whole Finnish ski jumping team decided not to smile on interviews and gave just one word answers. One sportswriter said that the javelin thrower Seppo Räty is the angriest athlete he has ever met. There's some hilarious interviews with him when he's fuming . During his career, ice hockey player Esa "Tiki" Tikkanen was famous for his Tiki-talk with what he agitated other players, who had no idea what he was saying. Rally driver Timo "Slack" Salonen was overweight, wore thick glasses, smoked heavily and heckled other drivers in good spirit. Once he got caught smoking during the stage.
The second "i know what i'm doing" clip is in his first race win after his come back. Ferrari bought him out of his contract, he got something like 20 million for giving his seat to Fernando Alonso. So Kimi went rallying, did some NASCAR and then came back, and won, with a car that was not suppose to win races. TO be fair, the car was good early in the season but still, he was the only one winning outside of the usual power teams.
I think you should see videos about current Finnish Rally drivers, Kalle Rovanperä and Esa-Pekka Lappi. Kalle being the youngest ever World Rally Champion and Esa-Pekka who has a truly fantastic personality.
You articulate Finnish better than anyone i ihave heard. Please react to kimi driving brilliance also its one video. But you have to react 2 of #KR7 kimis best first laps in same video. Best he had first lap 2020 Purtuguese GP with worst car he ever had P16-P6. And kimi 2004 silverstone firts lap. its said its greatest opening lap of modern F1.
Mika Häkkinen got more social after really bad crash. Definitely check out Mika. Kimi was faster in his prime though and more iconic i think. His car broke down just too many times and that was famous english team.
"Tsuhna, чухна".. Get an understantment of this Russian word. And make a video of it. Do some research.. As U like us so much :) Poste Scriptum ur accent is lovely :)
Our state of mind in Finland, you ask and we answer. You will like or not. 🇫🇮 No small talk! Greetings from Finland.
Why is here not the give my steering wheel and drink moment?
His best race ever was probably Japanese Gp 2005. He started in 17th and flew through the field in style and won.
Kimi is also called "king of Spa" F1 Belgium GP. There is king of spa videos.

There is 2 #KR69 rovanperä short vids. Rally 8yo and rally 11yo. To react in same video. And Häkkinen is one word man pretty much.
Kimi is a father of 3, he loves children❤

Such a prick and makes no apologies for it.🤣 Love this guy

Japanese GP 2005 or Monaco GP 2005 are the best by Räikkönen
Kimi is awesome - his son also is starting to give this one word answers :D from the current grid - Yuki Tsunoda is very funny to listen to ;)
when he was driving he took no shit and you can hear it. he was pissed in number 2.

I've tried virtual racing. When wife calls me, the lap goes so wrong. No need for disturbment when focused.

You need to react to Marcus Grönholm. His interviews are legendary. "WRC Rally Funny interviews with Finnish drivers "
Watch captain Slow with Mika Häkkinen in top gear
From sports you could react to the documentary "Teemu Selänne THE NEW "BOSS"".
@6:20 that was Max Verstappen wanst it? that young lad was so aggressive.... heck might still be if anyone could try to overtake him lol
Fun fact: One of my dads best friends designed his house
this compliation missed two absolutely hilarious encounters: th-cam.com/users/shortsRVdzPqNe5q8 and th-cam.com/video/b0xn6y7e7rk/w-d-xo.html :D
Bwoah
