Thanks for Pratham & Drishhti team for explaining in detail “ ASER report “. I want to invite your attention towards students who continue their their studies till higher levels even passing by 33-36 percent marks and get higher degrees without any ability. Then they wait for Govt./private job for 5-10 yrs . Such office jobs are available only for 1 against 500 degree holders. Hence they find them in long cues of unemployed youths. Students who do not get atleast 50 percent marks in 8th class must either repeat the class or shift to skill learning of their choice. Students who do not get 60 percent marks in 10th and 70 percent marks in 12th class have no capability to enter college. They must be advised to learn some skill and get sva-rojgar. Educational institutions are destroying their future by admitting them after class 8th to earn school/ college fees. 50 percent schools/colleges must be closed after 8th class and skill learning centres opened at village levels. Office jobs are available only for 15 percent and rest 85 percent jobs are for skilled/ labourers. Present education system is destroying the future of 80 percent youths by providing them incapable degrees. Consideration solicited. Thanks.
