    I was going to lease now that the deals are so good.. all these lease horror stories keeping me away I think. The fact you can’t sell or buy your lease should be illegal.. that’s crazy they remove all leverage.. most companies will just eat any of those fees if you re-lease or purchase from them. This whole process is wild

    Good info to know. My lease ends at the end of September. I do have some wheel damage and it sounds like their fee for wheel damage is cheaper than local wheel repair so I’ll just eat that one.
    My biggest fear is the tires. Even going non MPSS 4S is expensive and I may be on the hook for another $1000 tire install just to hand it right back :/

    When I returned my Audi A5 I didn’t even have to schedule anything. I just walked into a dealership and dropped off the keys and they asked where it was parked. They didn’t even walk out to see it. If Tesla is going to put me through this BS I am no longer conflicted about getting some other kind of EV. To hell with Elon.

      Be very careful doing that. I did that with Nissan on an Altima. I got a final bill for the total amount of the car. I called them and asked why since I was under mileage, they told me they never recieved the car. Turns out, the dealership I had returned it to, parked it and forgot about it. It was resolved, but had to notify the credit companies so there was no dings.

    Thank for this video. It is so much appreciated. I was thinking about leasing but now I am not sure. This seems like a PITA. I have leased my last 4 vehicles and have always traded them In early for another lease and used the equity I had towards a new lease. Not being able to buy out the lease as an option to avoid these costs or just buy it out because you love it really sucks. Not sure I can deal with that. I like my flexibility.

I watched the video to know what to expect. I'm glad I did. Good job. Looks like they're a bunch of rip off artists. There is absolutely no good reason they should not allow window tinting if it was done by a professional.

    • @RumourRS

    • @whatsay8406
      @whatsay8406 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I will not buy a car used if it has aftermarket window tint. Reason is, if that window tent was not put on professionally I’ll end up with horrible looking windows from bubbling and having to remove it myself. Also if the rear window wasn’t done right it could mess up the rear defrost system leading me to have to pay to replace a rear window on top of it.

  • @jbhorner
