Partner is as well very important ! Her responsivness ! and feeling the same mood :)
An old time Tango follower’s advise. As I am a follower since 2005, I know if you are not connecting or listening to your follower she will not respond or feel your mood and your dance will be trash. She needs to feel you’re dancing with her, the music is the instrument for your dance not the follower as the instrument, she is the other half of you. When my partner disconnects with me, it is because his mind is on the music, the audience, and I am last. I do not listen to Tango music when we are not dancing, because I make up steps in my head and then they come out in the dance. In the same breath if he does not listen to the music when we are not dancing he will spend more time listening to the music and not connect with me while we dance. So my suggestion is, dance with her more, think about her more, how she responds to your moves, make her feel the mood. women love to be loved, then they will respond. We do not trust well till we are shown we can trust you. Remember, to play her music, what she likes as well as what you like. It will go a long way to responsiveness and you both feel the same mood. :)
