The guy that was dancing was meant to be Sebastian Bach, of the 90's band Skid Row. He threw shade at Ronnie after FIR cancelled a show due to their laptops being stolen; with all their backing tracks. Note, that laptops are what hits the dancing guy in the head!

I remember my skid Row mirrors that we would get at the county fair in the late 80s. I doubt they had any other use than for coke but I was far too young for that. It was just a crazy mirror. Iron maiden had good art too....

Ronnie has always been super talented and just a lyrical and symbolic genius. There’s many ways to interpret this song. He definitely wants you to think outside the box to understand it. Like you said, you’re viewing it as satanic because you’re taught that anything that goes against religion is associated with satanism.
He’s just calling out society for using fear to control people. (Organized religion and social media)

Ehh disagree. The older Ronnie got maybe, yes, but lyrically he was not doing anything symbolic or creative, it was your typical genre lyrics back then. He ain't no silent planet, for instance.

Ronnie actually formed Falling in Reverse when he was in prison through writing musicians he knew and he wrote multiple albums worth of songs in prison, and as soon as he got out of prison he went into the studio to record the first Falling in Reverse album

For me, it seems like the genre bending nature of music is secondary. What really connects with people is how genuine something is and how well it's able to connect. It's easy to look at a piece of work and appreciate how it mends and combines art within itself, It's totally reasonable to do so, but the best and biggest pieces have always been something that help people who have felt pushed down or shut away, feel connected. I just wanted to say my piece towards this topic. Loving the content and how much you have been broadening your horizon and being so open with what you view! The singer Ronnie Radke was originally the singer of the band Escape The Fate, but he got caught up in a big fight in the Las Vegas desert in 2006 where someone got shot and died and since Ronnie had brass knuckles , Ronnie got arrested and pleaded guilty to battery with substantial bodily harm and was put on probation for 5 years but he broke probation because he was a heroin addict at the time so he served 2 and a half years in prison in Gen Pop and was in a prison riot and got shot by prison guards with the rubber shotgun rounds which still causes damage

This song is intense af but so is Ronnie. I wonder if he is working out his feelings about everyone having something to say about everything he does? I saw FIR last year, but this song wasn't out yet. Idk why but people like to continue to bring up his past and he has grown a lot from when he was younger. After the Sebastián bullshit, I understand why he went so hard on this one. Endsel Dope wrote an open statement to Sébastien about the type of music FIR actually does and to basically evolve with the times. Zombified is a good one. He goes off on cancel culture.

Out of all the reactions I have seen for this song, my man is the first one to call out that there is no hook/chorus.
No one will be Ronnie. People will try, but he’s been working on the genre bending since 2012 and he’s now perfected it. People will copy him, but he hasn’t really left a blueprint for structure. You also have music production, video production, mixing, his natural talent, his eye for detail in music composition, etc.

Well if you want some other cross over bands mixing rap and metal.. we have Body Count (Ice-T´s own Metal band), Biohazard ( i would go with the song "Sellout") , Chaoseum - Smile Again(kinda similar to Korn), and yeah i would strongly suggest Kim Dracula aswell!

the genre bending starts a long time ago. Shit, check out Fishbone or Bad Brains, Against Me or Rage Against the Machine. There is so much good blending of genre in music in every age; the Beatles for F sake, it just takes work to find. It seems like you on the start of one. keep it up, enjoyable to see people experience something I experienced.
Falling in Reverse is Metalcore which is a similar genre as Nu Metal which is known to incorporate many different musical genres
