      Thank's so much for the kind comments Eddy! Really stoked you enjoy the videos! I put a heck of a lot of time into making these videos, but hearing comments like your makes it worth the effort. We are very lucky to be able to have machines like this and even luckier to have such wonderful terrain to ride on. I love sharing our adventures here on TH-cam. I am constantly blown away with the huge community we have been able to build through this TH-cam channel over the last few seasons.

    I love when ATVs come out with you guys. It's nice to see how they handle the trails in the midst of all the side by sides.

      So do I Kevin, wish there were more of them. Seem's most the guys have converted from ATV to SXS over the last few seasons. A lot of people no longer feel comfortable coming out and riding with us on ATV's. Locally we have a reputation for being a little "Crazy" but I think that's just a matter of opinion, lol.

    Remove runners and mount from them to hitch on atv.
    Remote gas pedal and reverse shifter.
    Could carry supply s for ur wilderness caravan. Parts gas camp equipment. Tag along last in line to service break downs.

    Great video! I know how much time and effort it takes to make these.
    I can’t believe nobody is running studs or chains (that I noticed) in the winter. They are mandatory for the club rides I attend in southern Alberta. Most hills like these wouldn’t even need 4wd with wore out tires that are studded.

    Several years ago I saw someone have something similar happen with a branch that went through the foot well. He wasn't so lucky, it went completely through his upper leg. Luckily it missed his femoral artery or he would have bled out in seconds. I'm glad your friend was lucky. I think all Side by Sides should have a metal plate there. Kawasaki does it now on their machines. Awesome video too!

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks EastCoastATV. I agree, he was lucky. A few companies make metal guards for that area of the machine. I have been thinking about getting some. There have been similar accidents in rally racing in cars when debris rips through the floor.

    Plus I've got a CanAm Commander with 6" lift, I needed ground clearance and as everyone knows from the factory they don't have enough. I run a HighLifter belt and since I started running them I've only had to replace it once I tried a Dalton extreme but it slipped so bad after a month of hard riding I changed it back. I wish I could get some of the support like y'all get to help me

      You'll never look back if you do. I love mine. I've had plenty of Jeep's and ATV's but nothing beats the SXS experience. I still love hopping on an ATV and riding but as far as pushing the limits and really sending it, I feel way more confident in my SXS. "With age, comes a cage!"

      Hey Mawk Hammer, glad you enjoy the videos! Where are you based out of? We plan on having a few rides this season where we invite viewers out on our trail system. There have been quite a few people who have expressed interest in riding with us. I love riding with new people and new machines. Riding in new places with new people has always been one of the main goals of this channel. We are finally getting popular enough where we can start making some of these plans come to fruition.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Would love to head out there. I'd love to ride anywhere I can, the more places the better! Unfortunately it all comes down to time and budget. I can't afford to do all the travelling on my own budget. Owning the machine and maintaining it as well as all of the other things in my life don't always leave enough of a budget to go travel to all the places I want to ride. If we could get the channel popularity up more and if we could attract a few more sponsors/supporters then we could afford to travel further and more often. We are gonna work hard this season to get the channel growing even more so that we can bring you even more riding videos in the future. My goal has always been to meet up with as many viewers as possible and ride with them.

I just installed my last spare new one before my last ride. So far they work at least as good as stock at a much better price. I plan on spending the rest of the season testing these belts. I have a feeling that once I get the break in figured out they will have a longer life than a stock belt.

    And now a word from our sponsors. You can’t watch anything without enduring commercials.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately it's just the way things work 98zook. Making these videos takes a lot of time and quite a lot of monetary investment. Aside from the investment in the machines there are a lot of other expenses. The camera gear, the computers to process the video, the software to edit with, etc. It all ads up to a whole lot of money. The advertisements help creators like me supplement a little bit of that expense (a small fraction of what it actually costs to create these videos). Making a video like this easily takes 20-40 hours and in my case I am a one man team when it comes to the processing and editing of all of the content you see on this channel. This is not a full time job and I do not make a profit from creating these videos, it actually costs me quite a bit of time and money. I do it because I enjoy it and like the community. Look past the 15 second ad and understand that it helps small creators like us provide you with the essentially "free" content you consume on this platform daily.

    Dealer forgot he even had it.
    Your opinion welcome do I put power steering on it ?
    I want narrow front tires for better sideways grip. And I want to bolt on a roll cage I will custom make it 360 bottom side top 2 inch dia thinwall pipe. Maybe a wheelchair holder too

    If you have a belt driven machine... you better know how to swap em in the woods.... cause they don't break in the garage on lift after you clean er up lmao

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      LMAO, well said Arick. Things never break where you want them too, lol. Especially things like drive belts, due to the nature of the part it usually breaks in a high load scenario when ya really need the thing, lol. Unless your a short walk from the shop or the truck you should never be riding without a spare belt and the tools you need to replace it. I've been thinking about doing a video on the required gear you need when you ride. Think that would be a good idea? Not sure if people would like to watch that. Let me know what you think.

    • @arickhook370
      @arickhook370 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I tell everyone who brings out a brand new belt machine... high is for the highway, low is for the woods... when your in woods if you 20 mph you're fucking screaming down the trail lol.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya, i stay in low as often as I can. Only time I shift out is when its reving too high. Even on technical trails I love ripping in low, gives you that awesome grunt. Like ya said, if its under 20mph, you should prob be in low if your not on a road.

    • @arickhook370
      @arickhook370 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      AdrenalineJunkieProd agreed. But I will say that was an ideal time to shred a belt, pretty much right off the trailer lol

    Polaris and Can-Am make great ads for why you should buy a Honda. Every clip shows a Polaris or Can-Am breaking a belt or at least one axle.

    Cheaper to put a bumper or some decent tires on and save the stress for a real difficult run !

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is true man, as you'll see I have nice tires now and tons of body armor! lol. Unfortunately at the time those were the tires I had and didn't have bumpers yet but still wanted to ride. Wish I had the budget to do all the mods I want at once right away but unfortunately that's just not the reality. Luckily there was no harm done, just a little stress and a tarnished ego, lol.

    First time I see ur posts. Dec 29 / 19.
    Question ::::
    Why nobody wears chains?
    I reakise the excessive tire spinspeed might kill some bystander if chain flys off.
    So nylon chains?
    I just got my first atv 2013 honda rancher automatic.
    Im 72 in power wheelchair.
    Lol. Shows you that age dont make you smart.
    Was looking for a polaris875 because they all have 4 independent suspension. Same price but honda is much smaller..overall.
    But this honda dose too.

    So, new comment on an older post, but as mentioned in other comments, I'm a new SxS owner. An early change to my 2017 RZR Trail 900 was 26" Tusk TriloBites, which have a similar tread pattern to the Bighorn. Maybe too early of a change, as I didn't know any better and wish I'd have gone bigger. However it sounds like 28" is the biggest I can go without lift or spacers and/or clutch work. What do your RZR trail friends run/ recommend?

  • @micflynn1
    @micflynn1 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    You do know you can't run different size tires in 4x4 mode. It will damage the gear box because the tires rotated at different speeds and thus effect the torque output to the tires. Your back wheels will travel shorter distance than the front ones so that puts your gearbox in a bind.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ya, you're right mike. The size difference wasn't huge here. Also, the front wheels both rotate at different speeds from the rear anyways so I don't think it's that awful. It's not the correct thing to do for sure though. I didn't wanna end my ride though so I decided to do what I had to. I usually keep my machine in 2 wheel drive most of the time and only put it in 4X4 when I need it.

    A rzr with bighorn 2.0 or GBC DIrt commanders are the most versatile machines. I run 28 BG2.0 and 27 GBC DC on my rzr and ranger.. best all around tires.

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Personally I hate the Bighorn 2.0's Mike. They suck compared to regular Bighorn's in my opinion and a few of the other guys in the group that have run both. As far as the #GBC Dirt commanders go, amazing all around tire. No arguing that, it's just a fact.

    AWESOME VIDEO! Love the winter trail rides. Thinking about buying a Kawasaki Teryx 4. What is your opinion on Kawasaki? Are 4 seaters harder to drive on trails?

    • @AdrenalineJunkieProd
      @AdrenalineJunkieProd  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey croman1. I like the Kawasaki Teryx. It is a well built machine. Very solid construction. Wish we had one in the group. The 4 seats have pros and cons like anything. Generally the pros are they do better in steep descents and ledge drops but have a harder time making sharp turns and are more prone to getting high centered.

      Hey Nicholas, yes. Those were temporary as my other set of tires were damaged but I wanted to ride anyways, lol. I will be releasing a post build update of the RZR soon so you will see all the upgrades. I am now running a set of 30 inch #ITP Blackwater Evolution's which work great and should tear through any terrain that gets in their way. Stay tuned, it's gonna be an action packed season.
