  • Stora Karlsö is a small Swedish island in the Baltic sea. It is probably one of the most interesting natural areas in Sweden and is the second oldest natural reserve in the world after Yellowstone National Park. In this video we will take you to Stora Karlsö with us, show you around and tell you about the island as much as possible in just 10 minutes.😃
We slept only a couple of hours both nights we spent on the island, but we tried our best to shoot this material to put this video together even though we were completely exhausted the whole time we spent on Stora Karlsö. Haha We'll be better prepared next time! 🤞😁
Have you ever been to this island or maybe any other islands? Tell us about your experience in the comments below. ;)

    Love the Bus!
    Love the Dog!
    Love the video!
Have you guys done a video showing your camera and drone gear? I would be interested to know what you use to get such superb drone footage?
What a dream to spend so long touring.
Look forward to the next video.

That looks like a beautiful place to hideaway ^_^
Were you allowed to fish there ?

It really is a beautiful and a very interesting place to visit. Fishing is allowed throughout the year but with “hand tools” only.🙂

If you didn't have legal permission to shoot this video - which you with 99 percents certainty did not have - you are making things even worse for yourselves by sharing it on TH-cam. I suggest you take it down immediately.

Don’t worry, we shot this video after the dates specified by Länsstyrelsen (and talked to them on the phone before that) and double checked the dates with the person who was watching over the island personally before shooting with the drone. We had her full permission. That is why you can’t see any guillemots in the video (unfortunately), because we shot it in late August (or beginning of September) don’t remember exact dates anymore, but it was after the “ban” for flights was lifted, after the birds had migrated from the island. Moreover, these specific shots are approved by Lantmäteriet as well, we have all the papers saved for any video we make.:) I’d suggest not to assume the worst about people at once, and if you have questions, just ask them nicely, The Jerk.😉 Have a lovely day.👋
