Fanastic! Do you have to already be a skilled climber to do this? What a work out and a treat! :D

It was actually fun to do, and although Kim was a little tense, it wasn't dangerous. In retrospect, I should have "played" a little more.

Well, I have a very natural, healthy fear of heights, which I think is a good thing to keep. I had a German fellow student who went mountain climbing and never came back. (I'm glad I didn’t know him too well). Some people like to play with their fears to get an adrenaline rush, but it's quite possible to become addicted to this constant anxiety which can lead to the most deplorable and irreparable results. Back when bungee jumps were a new thing, there was a 12 year old boy in my country who wanted to try it. The chord didn’t break, but it came off it’s hook. Fortunately it was over water, so the kid wasn’t killed, but he did have to spend some time in hospital. You never know when your life will be over, but quite unnecessarily placing myself in situations where one tiny error or defect could be fatal, is not my thing. (If I want excitement, I'll watch a movie, or I might play a game of chess, which I find most exhilarating!) If you drop from a great height, you'll have time enough to contemplate the wisdom of your most recent decisions, and I don’t want my last thoughts to be about how incredibly stupid I was. Well, Maarten, I'm glad you both came back safely!

@@skakdosmer Well, yes. But there did seem to be an abundance of preparation, caution and care taken during the adventure. It seemed safer than riding a roller coaster. I'm not much for risks either.
