Frontiers in Ophthalmology: Telemedicine in ROP

My name is Nicoline Schalij-Delfos. I'm a pediatric ophthalmologist from the Netherlands and one of my points of main interest is retinopathy of prematurity, and today we're going to cover the subject of telemedicine in ROP. We are going to cover digital imaging and telemedicine right now. And one of the main parameters we are talking about when we are talking about digital imaging and telemedicine is plus disease. It's a major criterion for treatment and it's represented by increased arterial tortuosity in venous delectation in zone 1, and you can see the different stages of no plus towards plus disease on the slides.
