Hi Tony, that old lead mine was a fantastic find, so cool it has now been documented before it is lost to time and remains just stories passed down from Father to Son, absolutely amazing. Those pick marks like you said, they look so fresh like a miner was there working just Yesterday. People always think it was just one big explosion to break through to make another part of a drift etc, in fact it was a series of smaller explosions in one area that went off in quick succession of each other, as you rightly pointed out. Was there definitely no way to get into the lost parts of the mine Tony ????. What an incredible explore, I would say you were the first person to get those 2 lead mine tunnels on film. A fantastic video, thank you for sharing, much love. xx 💞

Hi Sue ! 🙋🏻‍♂️👋🏼 yes them lead mines have been on film for the first time !, I am hoping to get back to the first one and climb the man way going up !, I’m sure I will take us to a lot more of the mine that has never been trodden by modern man !.. as far as I know there is no way through to the lost side of the mine , I have looked over some collapses at the top and looks impossible. .. we know of some mine shafts at the top that might lead to the lost section but that would be another adventure for another time !😊 xx

@@UndergroundExplorerUK Was there only one entrance and exit to the mine ???, there may be another entrance people have forgotten about through time because the mine just seems too vast for there to be only one entrance. Take care, much love, Sue. xx

Excellent. Only slight criticism -Where is this underground cathedral sized hole? I guess it’s near Middleton by Wirksworth, Derbyshire
