How to remove a rotten fence post stump

Today Cowboy Bob shares an idea on how to build a device with simple parts that can assist in broken fence post stump removal. The concept does work, although in this demonstration the remaining fence material to be removed was so rotted that the necessary lags bolt could not get the necessary grip to be successful. Result..... back to lots of hand digging for this particular project. cb

you ought to get some weld on grab hooks and weld them to the top of the bucket, it makes hooking up chains to the bucket much easier.

Hey! Great idea! Every year or two I find a need for a better way to hook my chain to the bucket. I never learned to weld unfortunately. I could take it to aweld shop though easy enough. I like your thinking! Thank you!

I think so! I saw a TH-cam video that was my inspiration and the gentleman had success! I’ll try again when the opportunity arises!
