@OtomaEdje, I think there are lots of good places to start but Luke is the longest and most researched of the gospels. It includes many historical details. If you just wanted to read, maybe John or Mark would be better, but for a serious study there is so much to learn from Luke. Luke is also an excellent writer and is sets you up well to continue reading into Acts which Luke also wrote. Hope that's helpful. You might also check out my videos on the first chapter of John.
