This should never be an issue if one is aware of it. Then also if one is unbalanced on the board at low speeds, some wacky stuff can happen and the nose can touch and fly away, so when in this situation one should always jump off the board with both feet to just bail out of the situation before they potentially get destroyed. Other than that, fangs seem to be by far the best option for nose-dive safety. slippery bang bumpers are second, but they still have a lot more friction and that's not ideal. Wheels allow one to hopefully instantly recover, or hopefully allow enough time to run off the board for a step or two and go into a roll, rather than with stock bumpers the nose digging in and instantly your body being obliterated with no ability to control the fall. Fangs these days are essentially a bumper and cover the underside and have a convenient handle, which is nice. Just the wheels back then. To me the pint was designed for Kidds as it's too small for most adults. I started riding one wheels as an early investor in the company (2014), I own three, the original, the plus and the XR. I've been after them for years to have the board beep when doing pushback. They now have it on the GT, but it's not loud enough. I got my onewheel a couple months ago and the second day I had it, I nosedived and broke my wrist. It was a horrible break and my first broken bone. I’m just now starting to ride it again after being terrified to get back on it. hopefully I dont break my other wrist 😂
Omg that sucks, I’ve never skateboarded let alone tried out my one wheel yet. I have the pint and always wanted one since they looked like a solid purchase. I’m scared 😅😂
I can attest to the fact that the Fangs do NOT guarantee you'll never nose dive! I ate it hard on mine going up a hill at, what I thought was a pretty conservative speed. But without warning (meaning no discernible pushback that I recall) the board just shut down and I flew forward on the asphalt. Thankfully I ride with safety gear and my elbow guards took the brunt of it.
Do you have the one wheel app? Did it give you any warnings? We have a couple clients who broke their leg, ankle and wrist or clavicles with statements just like yours. Its easy and convenient for the company to blame user error, however one client was able to capture a warning sign on video seconds before she nosedived and broke her leg and acl. She was wearing all her safety gear and still ended up in the hospital for a week and has been out of her job for 3 months because she's still recovering. Glad you're okay, but some of their OW came out faulty
@@brendabalderas2635 I do have the app. I'll usually start a ride on the app, then the phone goes in my pocket, so any warning would probably not be heard. The app seems a bit flakey, with huge gaps in some rides, so I don't think I'd count on it even if it was able to give warnings.
@danielporterAZ Yeah, I had a helmet, elbows, hands, and knee pads The only thing I need now is shoulder pads. Everyone who rides a OneWheel lands on their shoulders so it would make sense to have shoulder pads
Yup they work.... have seen a few board failures (sorry refuse to call it nose dive as the board just turns off).... but just yesterday came off a curb a little forward an nose hit and I just rolled for a second. No running it off or stopping. Actually caught me off guard and rode it for a second for sure. Awesome!!!
I’m with you on the board failure. I finally had the confidence to hit top speed on my XR and at 17.9mph the nose just hit the pavement. I felt no pushback and there was no indication it would completely stop. It was so fast I couldn’t even brace or move, I just crumpled like a sack of potatoes and ate the pavement with the left side of my body. OneWheel is cool but it’s very dangerous riding it stock.
Nosedive can be a board failure but also board user failure. Pushback is a safety feature to warn you before nosedive happens. Of course the board can straight up die (e.g. battery failure) and it will most likely nosedive from inertia. It's like refusing to call it oversteer and calling it a car failure instead... oversteer is a result of ignoring or not knowing how physics of the vehicle work. Yes, you can oversteer because your differential fails and then it is a car failure but generally it is a driver's error. Modern cars try to help you to recover but if you ignore their input (e.g. ESP) then you'll still skid off.
@@VanBourner oh I get the technical reasons for the motor/software failure all too well haha. It’s actually killed a man and hurt countless others. The reason I call it failure is that it is simply turnoff and leaving you to suck pavement. Yes pushback is the option they promote but it’s simply silly. To make a battery or motor give a “last gasp” push back to tell you it’s overwhelmed is crazy. Why not just reduce power? It’s a design/programming failure. Imagine your steering or brakes in your car just turning off because it’s tired. And don’t get me wrong, I feel it’s only rider error if you feel the pushback. Lots of us have been injured due to this design error, as it’s simply been a lower battery and a sudden up hill or gusts of wind, BANG! It’s actually a joke in my opinion as just cut back power or at least have that as a setting option? Anyway, I’ve whines enough 😂, Fangs are amazing. They continue to save me from time to time. I’m in my 50’s and can’t sprint like in my 40’s haha so I’ve been able to ride out a low low battery/nosedive failure. Also in skate parks the long steep ramps UP allow you to just roll up if heavy on the front. Anyway love my Fangs and won’t ride without them. Oh and I hope OW stops leaving us riders on our faces. 😂
@@stevorun9865 Reduce power? The power is what keeps you balanced. You can't simply reduce it, OW keeps you straight up by applying counterforce to the wheel rotation. They can just tell you you are going over the top capability of the motor to balance you. I'd much rather fly forward than cook the electric motor for going over the RPM it is designed for... To bring it to car world - if you'd go over the RPM limiter on your car you'd explode your piston shafts and cams. Hence why you have RPM limiter. And if your brakes are too hot? You get brake fade. There's no warning for brake fade... It's physics. They try to reduce the power by telling the rider to slow down with pushback. If the rider ignores it it shuts down rather than damage itself and then shut down at much higher speed. It is IMO absolutely brilliant technical solution since it teaches idiots to respect physics of the device without introducing crippling damage to the device. Imagine if the coils in the motor fried instead because you simply went over the capabilities of the motor and once you push electric motor over it's capability it starts heating up the coils (as motor turns into generator when you move it). Best case scenario. Worst case your controller board would fry or your battery pack. You'd be livid. And you'd still nosedive but this time because your device is safely dead. And your nosedive would be at much higher speed, introducing higher change of serious injury.
I put on fangs after my gnarly crash the first week I had my board. 2,000 miles later, only needed the fangs once. So you gotta put a price tag on wrecking that could be prevented by fangs (you won’t find out until it happens). $60 is a no brainer for me.
Yup. Just the other day they saved my butt. I’ve been hopping down curbs no problem but for some reason my nose came down this time and my board just rode along on its nose and I ran it out. $60-worth it.
Fyi i think that little green thing is a charger slot plug. You plug it in when it’s not charging so crap doesn’t build up in there while you ride. Nice vid dude.
you know what also helps prevent nosedives? kiil guards suspension. i wasn't expecting it, but the extra bit of suspension combined with fang minis on mine has helped me recovered from unexpected holes and roots on trails without flying off the board.
I fully intend to be a little scared of my one wheel for the rest of my life. When I get cocky - it teaches me humility sometimes in a painful fashion. Maybe someday I’ll grow up and be a one wheel god, but till then the “Little Monster “ has my respect.
These fangs will buy you the extra second to ease up on the front end, especially on flat surface , my XR has nose dived when trying to go to fast up a steep subdivision hill, I carve a little when climbing steep hills to avoid the heavy strain on the motor. A set of Fangs or a trip to the dentist, pick one😳
Do you have any experience engaging the fangs (more correct: a fang) when carving? I'm interested in what it's like when touching the nose down when carving (at an angle to where only 1 fang is used).
@@doublet147 You don't want to force the nose down when riding, the front end will bounce back up if you nose dive it on purpose, hope that makes sense.
Regarding your last statement, if you ride with a backpack, you can easily put a bicycle bell on the pack strap. I find it very handy when other people are on the sidewalk.
yeah man I had Fangs and it saved my face but the issues is the onewheel locks and doesn't free spin when it dives. So YES the fangs do what they do. But the onewheel doesn't play nice. So as it saved my face and I did run out to the grass to fall. I still screwed up my shoulder a little.
I'm glad to see you got a helmet. I got some fangs coming, I haven't nose dived yet just hoping it will help me if I ever do. You got a new subscriber, keep it coming 💯
I was watching to see if you had the same experience and you did. I had motor failure (nose dive) 4 times last year all with their own conditions. Fangs work everyone. Not just on failures but also if going up a ramp at a park or driveway or curb. Anytime the nose hits it rolls and not stops/grinds. It’s a must for me as just gives me a split second to start running or I’ve even ride out the failure. BTW I refuse to call it anything but a failure! When your solution to a motor being over taxes to kill it and you, it’s a failure! As I’ve said to OW 100x just kill power by 50% instead of just turning off. It’s a programming issue, dummies. Haha.
Having used the fangs myself while they do work if your not on flat ground they may not work at all. I used them on my pint when I swapped to an XR I did not buy fangs again because a float plate will also slide if the nose touches just enough to recover. If you dont respect push back and go fast when it dives fangs are not going to do much neither do the float plates where they work is when your going slower and for some reason the nose decides to touch either from a bump in the pavement or weight not being shifted right whatever it ends up being.
I love my fangs. I ride hip forward when accelerating hard or riding really fast so that if I get too aggressive and the nose dips I instinctively pull the nose back up. I have put the nose down with and without fangs and pulled out fine but I have also put the nose down with and without the fangs and had to run it out. The fangs are a little more forgiving though.
I got my first pushback today on my OneWheel. I was surprised by how slight it was. I was not even sure it was pushback. I wish it was significantly more obvious.
Great video bro......I am 54 I got my first XR on black Friday last year. So far I continue to ride only on grass and Astroturf. I fell really hard on the grass one time. I believe I may have bruised my ribcage. After that fall ( I never told my wife) I still ride it but I know I need to hit pavement. Those fang wheels will be something I definitely know I will have to buy
I’m 67 and know what you mean, ya don’t bounce too good after a certain age, I ride careful, respect the one wheel, don’t ride faster than you feel comfortable bailing off from, safety gear, always be thinking about how to bail off safely. Don’t give up - it’s a lot of fun. Baby steps. You will be fine. Take it slow and never give up. Don’t get cocky - confidence is not your friend initially. 😂
So I'm a newer rider and don't gauge speed well. I bought a used board with fangs and i was able to save myself today with a 17mph nosedive. I know it was 17mph because it was the top speed I've hit on the board when it happened. My issue is I'm used to going 25mph on my esk8 so 17 doesn't feel superfast to me, so It's hard for me to gauge how fast I'm going below 20ish. I think I was also able to recover because I have a lot of board sports experience and have good balance. It felt like a nose grind on a regular skateboard.
They have helped a lot. I’ve had about three instances since making this video where they allowed me to run it out rather than stopping abruptly and eating asphalt.
Great video Daniel. Very helpful. You're right...more confidence, less anxiety. Even if you still bail, you'll have slowed down a bit and at least fall better. That's worth a lot IMO heh :)
Why in the world aren’t those preassembled??? I mean I understand there’s an install process to put them onto your board but there’s no reason why the bearing isn’t already in place and the wheel isn’t already attached to the mounting bracket. That’s ridiculous
Dude i dont know what to do. I love my pint but i cant trust it anymore. For the fourth time and after 2 nasty falls. My board continues to accelerate and not stop when i lean back. When i lean back it goes even faster! What do i do?
@@danielporterAZ it even happens in pacific mode. It happens during pushback and push comes very easy now and leans back very unbalanced like your doing a manual on a skateboard..
The glue is because the nut spins with the screw loosely in the footpad. You can’t get the screw to go in so you need to glue it. Nothing to do with loctite. Take a breath. :)
Welp...the screw tightened on mine so that must not be the case this time around...maybe after several times that nut I’m sure could very possibly come loose. Thanks for your input!!! 😁
I also didn’t have to glue the screw. Installed mine just like DP and it worked fine. Not to mention if you get the screw threaded in the nut, Loctite will do its thang!
What’s the update? Did fangs work? I recently nosedived going uphill. I didn’t feel pushback; it felt like the motor shut off and the front dipped and i went rolling. Luckily, nothing broken. My left hand slightly cut up and left elbow scratched up.
I got cocky today, smh and 5 days ago. 5 days ago I fell at 23mph today was at 25 mph. Yes I'll be padding up for now on. And you m at least going to try to see if the fangs help a little at least. And I'm lucky I been skateboarding skating and all that since 4 yrs old and know how to fall with out hopefully breaking something.... But I'll keep riding just no more being cocky.... #FLOATON🤘🏽💯💥🤞🏼
Do you or anyone have any experience with the Fangs offroad? Hinder on softer dirt; good on solid dirt, etc.? Also, does it affect clearance noticeably?
Way way way less fun tho imo. I have both. I’ve never nosedived after 600 miles on my pint knock on wood. Just know the boards limits and you’ll be fine. Also the ride is smoother.
@@danielporterAZ I ordered the Craft & Ride Float plates....sounds like I can modify them a bit to work with Fangs. I'm mostly interested in protecting the battery case in back.
Great video Daniel 👍 Did you have the wheel in 'Delirium'? I found it much easier to practice the nose drag in 'Mission'. It does not feel as responsive as Delirium for trying out tricks at lower speeds. Looking forward to your next update 🤙
Wrist guards!!! Followed by knee guards and upper body armor including spine and shoulders. But if you can only pick 2 types of gear, I’d recommend helmet and wrist guards. It’s so easy to break your wrists. I wear steel toe shoes also, but I’m on EUC which go much faster.
nice video. one of the most important questions to me as a OW owner is... why don't they come standard and are not even an offically endorsed accesory? What are we missing here?
I have the swagtron shuttle board. And after one week. I wanted to go 400mph. Nose dives are guaranteed going to cause deaths. It's not something you can really brace yourself for. And I had to remind myself. (Your heavier than the board!) Even the boards self balancing technology, won't fix what will happen if you put too much weight on one side....
@@danielporterAZ I just witnessed a buddy experience a nose dive....he reported not feeling or not recognizing the push back either. He did realize that he had the ride shaping set for hill climbing which has a lower top speed I guess and we were probably over that...still, I think those fangs may have saved the fall...maybe . Ride safe 👍🏼
@@maxwellmark Based on my nosedive, it seems to me there's a way to get the nose down to the pavement before the pushback engages. I was at zero and did what DP was doing to test the wheels in the video. Just got over the front and was suddenly on my face.
Yeah - If I am planning a day of trail riding I’ll most likely take them off. I’m sure if I’m reckless on pavement I will still nosedive...at least at this point if I’m not reckless I will have a fighting chance to correct myself.
yeah the fangs are a good move bro! Without the fangs, if your pushing it (as you saw), its almost instant asphalt Halt! With the fangs, you can actually recover, or at the very least, you know it nose dived and can react before breaking a clavicle
Great video! I’m also a victim of the nose dive, early on for the exact same reason. Glad I had a helmet at the time , hit head fairly hard. I got a different brand then Fangs, then minis .. first brand was the most functional but wasn’t aesthetically pleasing, Fangs was cleaner but touched at very steep angles... minis clean but the slightest of sidewalk cracks etc it “grabs” but have you seen the 3.0?? if not you have to check it out! Wheels touch down slightly earlier and no chance of wheel movement (my 2.1 and minis would rotate slightly at times) and it still looks super clean! The best Of all worlds of all Models I’ve tried! You can actually do super tight slow turns on one of the wheels too. I believe it betters the chance of getting out of a nose dive even more.
Even better than fangs is learning how to properly ride and knowing pushback. Its literally that simple, know that depower nosedive from overcharge down a hill is the worst diveyou can have. Wear a backpack, and if you go down toss your momentum into a roll to the back. The most common injury is separated shoulder or broken collar bone ( lead shoulder )
Nosedive from overcharge? The board just captain morgans on a decline unless you're not riding properly and have your weight shifted to the front as you're going down in which case it will shut off you are responsible for slamming the nose down into the ground.
I'm a long time snowboarder and discovered the nosedive in my second week by doing something that I do naturally to carve on the slopes...pushing my weight over the nose. Lesson learned but I'm a little baffled why the wheels aren't standard.
@@danielporterAZ -- Hahaha... right on. I hope that is the solution. It's just a drag that so many TH-camrs engage in click-bait. Seriously, I'm not being a jerk for no reason. I was hoping that the Fangs or similar product would make that crazy wheel safer. Cheers!
I don't understand the people who want to drag the nose of tail of the thing anyways. Why intentionally cause undue damage to your expensive device? Why push it as fast as it can go when you have no way to actually stop yourself? I'm interested in these things, but only because I want an electric vehicle for my commute and anyone on the unicycle type ones looks like there is something wrong with their head.
I'm getting permanent metal plates and screws in my shoulder tomorrow because my OneWheel nosedived and broke my clavicle
Ouch man! So sorry to hear that! Glad you are alive though or even a vegetable. Hope you were wearing a helmet!🪖
@danielporterAZ Yeah, I had a helmet, elbows, hands, and knee pads
The only thing I need now is shoulder pads. Everyone who rides a OneWheel lands on their shoulders so it would make sense to have shoulder pads
Great vid, info & review. I was all in after you made the "thread lock" comment. That is knowledge to many but not all. Important to mention.
Thanks man, you’d be surprised how much heat I got for that statement…¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@VanBournerwell there goes my Christmas wish for the year. Haha
@@danielporterAZ Did these get a significant price increase since this video? The 3.0s retail for $110 now
@@Jdb63 yes with the release of the new generation.
Fyi i think that little green thing is a charger slot plug. You plug it in when it’s not charging so crap doesn’t build up in there while you ride. Nice vid dude.
Yeah…I discovered that shortly after making this video
you know what also helps prevent nosedives? kiil guards suspension. i wasn't expecting it, but the extra bit of suspension combined with fang minis on mine has helped me recovered from unexpected holes and roots on trails without flying off the board.
I’m gonna look into those.
I fully intend to be a little scared of my one wheel for the rest of my life. When I get cocky - it teaches me humility sometimes in a painful fashion. Maybe someday I’ll grow up and be a one wheel god, but till then the “Little Monster “ has my respect.
Absolutely. I don’t feel I will ever be as confident as I felt on day two prior to eating asphalt…
Same!! It's earned my respect. I'm happy at much lower cruise speeds now.
That small green thing you didn't know what it was... it looks like a charging port cover for the XR.
Duuuuuuuuuuude!!!!!!!!!!
@@danielporterAZ haha it was cracking me up when your hand was right next to the port and you didn’t figure it out😅 drag those fangs!!
I received the same ugly port-plug. I have a feeling that was their least popular color and they had hundreds laying around the warehouse...
Regarding your last statement, if you ride with a backpack, you can easily put a bicycle bell on the pack strap. I find it very handy when other people are on the sidewalk.
☝🏼this right here 🙌🏻
yeah man I had Fangs and it saved my face but the issues is the onewheel locks and doesn't free spin when it dives. So YES the fangs do what they do. But the onewheel doesn't play nice. So as it saved my face and I did run out to the grass to fall. I still screwed up my shoulder a little.
Respect the one wheel, I've yet to fall off. I barely pass 15mph
@@draco2xx same. I dont push the board to its limit or tipping point. Don’t even want to test it. Goes plenty fast
Nothing replaces pure RESPECT for the onewheel. But the fangs do give you a fighting chance. They’ve allowed me to run it out more than once.
Hey Daniel, I am out here in AZ as well!!!! I just got my XR earlier this month and love it!!!!!
Hell yeah dude!!! FLOAT ON!!!
Same
I'm glad to see you got a helmet. I got some fangs coming, I haven't nose dived yet just hoping it will help me if I ever do. You got a new subscriber, keep it coming 💯
Thanks brotha!!! Gotta protect that noggin!
Haha.
The little green thing is a lil rubber cap for the charger port so water or dirt wouldn’t get in
Haha yeah...realized that afterwards.
Yup…their is no substitute for respect of that push back
hi. you should go to the custom setting, make it more playful, so will be much easyer to touch the ground with out couch the speed
Done 🙌🏻
you get a like because you admit to being too cocky..respect
Nothing will humble you more than nosediving on a onewheel
You trying to force the nose down was giving me anxiety 😂 nice video dude. and the green cap is a charging port cover.
Thanks man! Yeah I’ve figured that out since posting. Thanks for watching!!!
They help just enough. Not so much that they make you careless which is good.
I got my first pushback today on my OneWheel. I was surprised by how slight it was. I was not even sure it was pushback. I wish it was significantly more obvious.
Those One wheels look awesome, im sure I would get hurt if I got one...but it’s tempting!
...do it.
You owe it to yourself.
No shame in padding up. Hell, after my nose dive, I started wearing my full-cage hockey helmet.
That’s awesome...just remember the fangs aren’t a fail safe...they only help
Look up sonny wheels. Thank me later. Float on 👏🏼
I’m 67 and know what you mean, ya don’t bounce too good after a certain age, I ride careful, respect the one wheel, don’t ride faster than you feel comfortable bailing off from, safety gear, always be thinking about how to bail off safely. Don’t give up - it’s a lot of fun. Baby steps. You will be fine. Take it slow and never give up. Don’t get cocky - confidence is not your friend initially. 😂
Finally somebody made a video for this without all the extra shhhhhh!!!! Dope video!!!!!

Fully agree
That green thing is a charger plug. It goes where you put your charger when not using
Yup
So I'm a newer rider and don't gauge speed well. I bought a used board with fangs and i was able to save myself today with a 17mph nosedive. I know it was 17mph because it was the top speed I've hit on the board when it happened. My issue is I'm used to going 25mph on my esk8 so 17 doesn't feel superfast to me, so It's hard for me to gauge how fast I'm going below 20ish. I think I was also able to recover because I have a lot of board sports experience and have good balance. It felt like a nose grind on a regular skateboard.
I keep the OneWheel app open on my Apple Watch so all it takes is a glance at my wrist to check my speed. CHEERS!
I had a nasty nosedive my first day and ended up fracturing my elbow, definitely humbled me lol
Yeah man…one wheels are dangerous and not to be disrespected. They demand blood from those who don’t…
They haven't worked for me so far... Wiped out 3 times.. always just fall and roll

Great video Daniel. Very helpful. You're right...more confidence, less anxiety. Even if you still bail, you'll have slowed down a bit and at least fall better. That's worth a lot IMO heh :)
Thanks bud!
Have you have a nosedive Issue since you installed the wheels? If so, how did it go? Do they work?
I have not. My first reck was humbling and I have taken heed to the pushback and haven’t touched the nose. Knock on wood...
So, its been 6 months. Have you nose-dived since?
I haven’t. I can say that it allowed me to run out 2 or 3 situations in which I would have ain’t asphalt otherwise.
I think that green piece is meant to be a cap for your power outlet.
Yeah I figured that out immediately afterwards
Why in the world aren’t those preassembled??? I mean I understand there’s an install process to put them onto your board but there’s no reason why the bearing isn’t already in place and the wheel isn’t already attached to the mounting bracket. That’s ridiculous
Labor to preassemble them may bring the price up ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Is it possible to remove the screw in the future? (I've never used a thread locker before) thanks!
Yes. The thread lock isn’t permanent.
Just use blue thread locker not red..
i don't even use my fangs for nosediving safety, i use them for help getting over offroad obstacles and things like curbs
The Green thing is a Plug for your power port

The pint has a better pushback then the xr
That’s what I’ve heard…
Now you have a Threewheel 🤘🙃
Lol
Dude i dont know what to do. I love my pint but i cant trust it anymore. For the fourth time and after 2 nasty falls. My board continues to accelerate and not stop when i lean back. When i lean back it goes even faster! What do i do?
Sounds like you need to reach out to Onewheel…that seems like a manufacturing error. Check your riding settings and try a more sensitive mode.
@@danielporterAZ it even happens in pacific mode. It happens during pushback and push comes very easy now and leans back very unbalanced like your doing a manual on a skateboard..
@@PracticalPostMan_FLA I would contact Onewheel. That’s no bueno
IDK i fell hard wiith my fangs on they dont help if you fly off the onewheel lol

What’s the update? Did fangs work?
I recently nosedived going uphill. I didn’t feel pushback; it felt like the motor shut off and the front dipped and i went rolling.
Luckily, nothing broken. My left hand slightly cut up and left elbow scratched up.
They have saved my neck more than once. I give an update on my later video on the fangs V2s
Also I got flight fins very useful and helpful
Do you or anyone have any experience with the Fangs offroad? Hinder on softer dirt; good on solid dirt, etc.? Also, does it affect clearance noticeably?
They do not work well on dirt or sandy trails. They dont work on grass either. Hope this helps.
Yeah pretty pointless on dirt…
Electric skateboards are safer. I recommend the bajaboard S2 atrax
Way way way less fun tho imo. I have both. I’ve never nosedived after 600 miles on my pint knock on wood. Just know the boards limits and you’ll be fine. Also the ride is smoother.
Same here…I’ve ridden both and the Onewheel is much more fun.
I ordered the fangs at the same time as I ordered the XR. Are there any float plates compatible with the XR and Fangs 3.0?
I don’t think so being that the Fangs 3.0 comes as it’s own skid plate. However you would still need one for the back
@@danielporterAZ I ordered the Craft & Ride Float plates....sounds like I can modify them a bit to work with Fangs.

I did have it in Delirium. I’ll have to try it again in Mission! Thanks!!!
I actually nose dived twice on mission on accident, the mode swapped. 😂
Good tip, thanks. I mainly ride in Delerium.
iAteit would be good name for a line of OneWheel body armor.
Wanted to reach out to you about the Fangs, do you think they are a good safety net?
Absolutely. Have saved my butt several times.
What causes the nosedive?
When you continue to lean forward and you have reached the max speed of the Onewheel.
"Must Go Faster!" ';.;'
Wise words.
What helmet is that?
It’s a bell
nice video. one of the most important questions to me as a OW owner is... why don't they come standard and are not even an offically endorsed accesory? What are we missing here?
I think they don’t want to discourage against feeling for the push back…
If you put it on pacific, it’s easier to “over power” the board and nose drag it. For practicing sake.
Yeah after I made this video I actually did do that
I wonder if the new gt model will nose dive less with their more torque and power they are bragging about
I don’t know man. I’m on the fence about buying one. We will see.
You tightened the wheels too tight is why the bearings don't spin as they should.
They are spinning freely…they good.
This is amazing quality for a sub 1000 channel I'm def here to stay

Fangs looks shitty because it’s too small and you can still dive off from the platform specially in rough terrain
Yeah - If I am planning a day of trail riding I’ll most likely take them off. I’m sure if I’m reckless on pavement I will still nosedive...at least at this point if I’m not reckless I will have a fighting chance to correct myself.

I actually just got the 3.0 in and haven’t installed it yet. Looking forward to it though!
cool, you’re gonna love em seriously !
