Pete is keeping the soul of retro gameing alive on twitch. I love to listen to his stories on the streams because they are more about his hilarious experiences in life than streamer drama on the internet.
Omg the Bad Dudes just brought back a hidden memory. Our local rollerskate rink had a separate arcade with Bad dudes, Double Dragon, MK2 and Altered Beast. I spent so much money there, eating fun dip and playing those. Awesome video Pete!

T&C Surf I use to play all the time and didn't know how to play it either. I also remember playing Gyroniod with ROB the Robot. Never knew how to us the Robot until recently when watching video game historian.

You should check out the Amiga mini, would be interesting to see your take on the 90's games machine - as I guess you didn't really have the Amiga in the US due to the NTSC/PAL issue. Also If Bad Dudes was turned into a film I'd go and see it - The president?... abducted by ninja's?... thats writing.
I could only beat Parappa by pressing the button all the time, and would count as correct. But if you actually do it and finish with cool, you get extra songs in every stage

If you haven"t played Dragon quest 11 yet i would highly recommend it. i tried the demo when it was being ported to the switch and enjoyed it so much that i bought and played the full game on switch and later on steam as well.

Good video but I'll say that youtube videos that are just twitch streams are like... some of my least preferred things and I only tend to watch them if I like the creators individual content of which given your channels 'newness' is somewhat lacking. The other people started doing this style of content after they had established their viewerbase significantly whereas you seem to be focused on Twitch which will always have a different focus to TH-cam. This sort of content doesn't have the best discoverability and I'm not unique in that I'll never willingly click onto a youtube'd twitch stream if I don't know the creator already. If that's the way you want to do things then it's not my place to say otherwise but you're going to be severely limiting your options if you focus on 'copying' what the other people are currently doing vs doing all that starter stuff to create your own brand. What's going to happen when Connor goes back to the UK and you don't have that crossover viewer base as often? Do you think you can stand doing what you're doing now for the next 1-2 years with the same view counts (aka earnings) to potentially grow via this sort of channel or what... Don't worry about responding, only mention because I don't want to lose seeing you around but I know I'd never jump straight into streaming (twitch or youtube) as my only source of income without spending a long time to work out 'what' I can focus my brand on personally. (I've done that, I'm a published novelist, programmer and heavily involved in game/IC modding) Have you?
You have some great observations and I appreciate the feedback. That being said- all these things take time to grow, learn, experiment. Instead of focusing on what you view as a potential weakness or personal preference let’s instead celebrate that the channel has regular updates and that for those who *do* like the IRL, gaming, and other streams but missed it live had something to check out. That being said, of course I have plans beyond moving streamed content to a TH-cam video but, well, let’s give it some time! Hope you enjoy what I am putting out there and thanks for sharing your thoughts!
