a lil explanation about Nakka (낙하; "fall" or "downfall")
when you're at the highest point, the only way is down. naturally, we see falling down (literally as well as metaphorically) as falling down, hitting the ground and getting hurt, that it'll be painful, that it will hurt. but Chanhyuk imagined it as a bottomless pit, so you keep falling and falling, until you emerge flying up on the other side (as we see Chanhyuk's falling scene becoming reversed and being at the top of the building again), thus making Nakka a hopeful song, that even if you think you're falling to the depths, you might actually be flying high to newer heights and so you shouldn't give up and keep working hard. also i noticed how in the chorus IKMU keep singing higher and higher, in a way they mimic the high-pitched sound a freely falling object makes but it's reversed i.e. flying up (much like what we've seen in cartoons, that the falling sound starts off very high-pitched and decreases with depth but Nakka's chorus starts lower and ends high-pitched; think of fireworks) and i think it's such a smart detail. truly genius
my respect and love for AKMU keeps growing with every release as they share their view of the world, its people, life, and music. it's simple yet speaks volumes, with such strong emotions and beautiful lyrics. just a beautiful and enriching experience to listen to AKMU (๑•ᴗ•๑)♡

It was hard to differentiate IU and Suhyun’s voice while watching but once I closed my eyes to focus on the music, it’s actually very distinct. It amazes me how different things can be depending on where you focus.

They both have a very pure voice that makes them such a good collab. But I feel like IU has more air in her voice while Suhyun’s voice is more filled. Only personal views.

Since some of the children shown in the past mv (Battlefield/Hey kid, Close your eyes), I think that they are the kids in the mv who have not yet moved on from the pains of childhood/facing hardships at and early age (war, poverty, violence, family/peer/school pressures, etc.)
Show in the mv, Chanhyuk and Suhyun are in the party but feels distant from the party atmosphere since both of them are still falling from the trauma of the past. But even if we're falling, Suhyun managed to save Chanhyuk from falling and made him rise back again to where he was, relating to the lyrics that we should be able to trust the ones we truly love and be with them in their darkest times.
In the end it all shows the people of all races with Chanhyuk being the same as him, maybe telling us that under the party vibe, they all feel as miserable as him.

omg i just saw this so all of the mv r connecting to each other the first one is warzone which involve shooting, losing hope, lonely, all abt competition, not trusting each other and at the end suhyun pass a shirt to one of the kid then in this mv suhyun is in the room tht is the same as the last part in warzone but there is a cliff(?) hole which chanhyuk fall into and saw the kid at the bottom of it(i dont rlly understand this part) after tht suhyun says jump on three and fall(there r also some part shich she said to trust her and fall) but later suhyun save chanhyuk from falling so i guess this mv show abt trusting each other(show how we love Let’s show these people who are ready to laugh
that nothing can ruin us) and becoming mature also chanhyuk later fall again but backward like in suhyun world(her room is upside down) and i guess the last part will connect to the next mv

It's just AKMU (and a few other groups), most kpop is still fairly basic when it comes to concept (not necessarily choreo and music tho).
