First he says it's illegal to have commercial equipment parked on the road, then he says "you can't park trailers or trucks" then the guy asks him "so you're going to ticket me for my truck too?" And the cop responds "that's not commercial" so he moved the goalposts like 3 times. If he had said from the beginning "you can't park a trailer in the street sorry buddy" it would have at least made sense. It's still absolutely unnecessary BS ordnances but at least be consistent with your wording

Can't park a trailer on the street... thats BS, commercial or not you pay taxes to use the roads, you should be able to use and park any legal vehicle on it. Now that guy has to take an entire day off work just to fight a BS fine.
If this show has taught me anything it's that I will stick to working from home in the SUBURBS. I would never work in the "city" or even go there unless I take the subway/Metrorail or bus and take an UBER back to the train station.

I remember working in Philly during COVID try to keep the restaurants running and they took a lot of the parking away for outdoor dining. They thought about the restaurants to create the outdoor dining but then took away the ability for the restaurants to have their equipment repaired. I refused to park illegally and my van was too tall for most of the parking garages. A lot of businesses suffered.
The guy giving out tickets doesn't know the difference between a commercial and privately owned trailer. The tag would say commercial. He needs to be retrained if he thinks every trailer is commercial.

There's a guy at the corner of my house who parks his 4 X 4 red truck on the sidewalk all summer including Saturdays 6 days a week. Doesn't have a set time. He comes when he feels like it. He's a maintenance worker who's fixing up a house. Been at it for over a month and he has about 15 months to go. I don't wanna put up with this for 15 months. I actually reported him to the mayor this morning as there is a kids park near by and he could run over someone or a dog if he pulls up on the curb behind the yellow line.
7:10 that officer was stupid though, he said you can't park pick up trucks on the street and the man asked if he parks his pickup on the street, he will get a ticket and the officer said no.
But its not a empty trailer. It has a valuable items on it. Those windows and windows installments are easily 250$. Its obvious no one has abandoned it.

I driver 18 wheelers around New York. You may have to walk a few block with 300-400 pounds of merch but at least you don't get ticketed. I just have to pay all fines once I get home late to the wife. You win some you lose some. It's a give and take type of world. Take the ticket next time give yourself more options to park.
They are making a difference. They're keeping the streets clear for traffic, and allowing, keeping emergency facilities (eg. for hydrants) clear, and allowing people to have access and egress, to their own property.
I know parking attendants have a jib to do but comon the other people also have a job to do and things to deliver, i did deliveries myself and sometimes its imposible to park enywhere especially in a big city .
