    Bojan Krkic was extremely talented, the reason he did not succeed was not because of a lack of talent, but because he suffered from depression and anxiety disorder like so many talented young players. Football organizations still waste a lot of talent (and money !) and often underachieve as a team because of the outdated macho team culture based on verbal and even physical abuse which has a negative effect on self-confidence and team spirit.

      He said no one else was amongst the masía at his level to help push him. When he came into the first team he came up against players and talent he was I’ll prepared for. His play style was very similar to that of Messi. And Messi was just so much better so it seemed as if tho there was no space for him.

    Gavi's passion for Barca reminds me of Puyol. It's just that sometimes he overcommits himself like against Porto. But he's a young kid and he'll learn with time ❤💙

    It's crazy that Lionel Messi (greatest player in the history of the football club), Andres Iniesta Xavi and Sergio Busquets the greatest midfield trio in the game Carles Puyol one of the best defenders of our generation came from the Barcelona academy and those notable players enjoyed a lot of success for club and country, Barcelona's Golden Age of football 2006-2015 where they dominated domestic football and European football all of them played a pivotal role in their success most of it was coached by Pep Guardiola another La Masia graduate who had success as a player and is now the best manager ever. Given the emergence of Gavi Alejandro Balde Lamine Yamal Fermin Lopez and others it's clear that this model for Barcelona is the best way going forward for them rather than paying big for superstars that don't quite fit the project they have a strategy in turning household names into superstars and the best players in the world. They have the best academy ever and I hope Barcelona gets back to dominating football a La Liga win last season was a good start and this group of players can achieve more.

  • @tobaepebinuade5830
    @tobaepebinuade5830 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +12

    Lamine Yamal is literally an unbelievable player. He is just 16 years old and is currently playing regularly for Barcelona and Spain. As a right winger for someone who's so so young he plays with purpose so confident in his game, he's trickery electric and he causes so much havoc for opposing defenders. When he was in the Barcelona academy, he was unstoppable and a scoring machine as well and he'll be a top caliber winger if he's managed very well for club and country. The way Barcelona was developing these young players from their academy, this is what led to them having a lot success and they're back to calling up players from La Masia and let's hope the likes of Pedri Gavi Lamine Yamal Alejandro Balde Fermin Lopez and others reach their full potential.

    As terrible manager tactically as koeman is, you got to give him credit for being the one who pushed ahead some of those gems like gavi, pedri & araujo

  • @tobaepebinuade5830
    @tobaepebinuade5830 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

    Barcelona seriously had the best midfield duo ever in Xavi and Andres Iniesta who were both magicians on the ball to now having Pedri and Gavi who'll be the core of that midfield for a decade. Pedri never came from their academy and as soon as he showed his promise at Las Palmas, once he got to Barcelona he got a chance and quickly became one of the first names on the team sheet and he's even a starter on the Spain national team which tells you that he's destined for greatness in his career. A player who's known for his dribbling close control composure on the ball passing chance creation, he's a smooth operator whenever he plays and he is a world class midfielder and it's hard to believe that he's only 20 and they trusted the youth even in these difficult moments financially.
    Gavi has been in the Barcelona first team for 3 seasons and he's already one of the best midfielders in world football. He is a technical player who is very tidy with the ball at his feet, he's robust covers ground very versatile plays for the team and always gives a 100% effort every time he's on the field. It's true some people don't like his game as he fouls a lot of players and a lot of us say he's overrated, you have to watch what he brings to a team and Gavi is just that good when at 19 you're an automatic starter for club and country and he's a superstar in the making the fact that at his tender age, he's literally starting for both Barcelona and Spain which is impressive and he's already an important player for their team and is set up to have long term success as a player for this football club.

    1. Not every la masia player would become a Messi or Xavi, but many can be like Pedro Rodriguez or Victor Valdes. Because they understand the play style.
    2. One of the main reasons there were no significant talents the past few years, is Rosell and Bartomeu, these two never believed in what made Barcelona great. They just wanted to sign big names.
    3. There are many factors that affect the best development of a player, like injuries, lack of commitment to be a professional athlete and one of the most important: the bad influence of friends and family.
    La masia does everything they can to make good players, then they need to do their part too.
