Sulking Dog hates Bath Time So We Tried Something New!

- Phil has been ordered to bath by the doctor none the less! The dreaded time had come as we tried to lure him to his impeeding doom. He had second thoughts though as he entered the bathroom he made a b-line for the shower! He's not been washed here many times so we thought why not, he fits in there with an adult its that big! We never had this option before (only cold hose outside previously) and Phil seemed to tolerate it better or he's got that used to it now. Unfortunately this medication has to stay on for 15 minutes after being applied so we had to watch him in his glass prison feeling sorry for himself before he was rinsed off and set free! He's super happy when he has his robe on and gets let outside though, straight to the bush or any dirt he can find to try and rub up against!

I love how all of you kept Phil company. Milo was precious sitting on the edge of the shower and he and Phil touched noses. Miss Amelia sure kept baby Nathan happy while at the same time wrangling the other dogs. I'm sure Phil knows that when you are bathing him that you do it with love,

Beautiful caring loving family, saw you years ago....please give him a treat or too whilst waiting 15 mins, otherwise he thinks he being punished by being locked in the shower stall. He's a handsome boy and regardless of losing his coat, his behaviour and personality far outways his looks. LOVE HIM.

Ask your vet about coal tar shampoo. It made a big difference after vet shampoo for us. Also heals hot spots but meant for bacterial or fungal infections.
Coal tar shampoo is also used to help with itchy scalp/dandruff for humans. 👍🏽

My golden used to try to get into the shower stall with me. TRY. I wouldn't let him in. He also hated when I closed the door to used the toilet. He'd dig at the floor. And that was the only time he'd try to dig... anywhere. I could leave him by himself anytime no problem, unless I went into the bathroom. So to save my floors, I let him guard me while I was in there.
I hope it helps him. I hope his skin is not iches😊❤
