A third season has been announced. The story is interesting, and complex as well as highly emotional. The writing is "tight". Personally, found it much more interesting than many anime out there.
Link Click is one of those shows that I think is super underwatched by people. It's super good. I personally enjoyed season 1 more but season 2 was good too. Another underwatched show that I could recommend is Summertime Render, the openings for that are really good too. I wish more people watched these two shows Edit: Just looked it up, you reacted to the openings for Summertime Render already, I forgot 😂 Edit 2: If you want some more info on it (no spoilers, just more info around what we saw in the trailer) keep reading. So the main characters have both powers, one person has the ability to go into photos that have been taken and the other person has the ability to see what happened in that photo. So one of them is guiding the other one through the photo's events to solve mysteries and problems. The show is very much a time travel focused show with the two powers and it does it really well. The stakes are there and the show is intense. If you do end up watching it, I'm sure you'll be on the edge of your seat.
This is up there among my favourite animated shows. Definitely highly recommend checking it out. It covers a lot of genres and themes that would suit a range of demographics and tastes. The fandom is relatively small in comparison to some other shows, yet we are pretty dedicated and happy to have more people join. It's a donghua (Chinese animation) original. Without spoiling, as shown in the trailer there is a photograph element to the story. The reason I love it so much is the writing is top tier, and I absolutely adore the animation and art style. They also link some parts of the story with real life events, and it's a really emotive story. In regards to the second OP the song is song normally whilst the images play in reverse, and then when our main characters almost touch at the top of the building the song 'rewinds' and plays in reverse whilst the images play normally. Both EDs are fantastic bops too, each with a very key sound at the start that plays at the end of the episode before leading into the actual ED. When watching Link Click as it aired hearing those sounds definitely made me groan a few times because it meant the episode was over and I'd have to wait another week for more 😆
I'm glad you finally saw the openings of Link Click, the endings are also very great, The Chinese studio that animates the dongua has that quality because several of the staff worked on Makoto Shinkai's films😆 This dongua is available on Crunchyroll. Aside from the animation it also has a pretty solid story and script.
oh this is definitely one of the best shows I've wacthed and the music is so good too. It's best to watch it without expectations. Since the story is original and not an adaptation, while waiting for the next season you can only think of the thousand theories about things that haven't yet been revealed. In fact, the most interesting thing about this anime is what has not yet been revealed lol. Even though the international fandom may not be that big compared to other shows, I'm so glad that it's popular in China, so we're always guaranteed more seasons :') Highly recommend it ✨
the ops are so good the donghua itself is pretty interesting concept is very interesting. usually when i see these "enter a medium to view the past" kind of thing, it's usually in fantasy, with paintings. but here it's photos, and you don't enter as yourself, you enter into the body of another person...
MAN. this show is INTENSE. A must watch for sure. Nothing is perfect, but link click really makes you question the statement. From the visuals, storytelling, the MUSIC. It's a story about connections, humanity and constant anxiety.(Doesn't) help that many of the stories in it are based on true events.
This is my FAVORITE anime of all time, I even got a tattoo on my arm 😂 its amazing, an emotional roller coaster! And its about time travel thats literaly all I will say 😊
Link Click is a must. They really did excellent job with this one. Its cliffhangers could compete with AoT's cliffhangers, haha. The EDs are fire too. Definitely check it out
On a side note, when you do finally get to watch it, the original language of the show is in Chinese, I personally think Japanese Sub or even English Dub are incredible and in my opinion even better.

I'm in the middle of season 2 and this is one of my favourite shows of all time, its so beyond everything that i could have ever expected

This is a Chinese production, but the animation is very Japanese and the combo is awesome! Please watch the 2 seasons that are out now.
