Makatoony will there be more videos of prehistoric life documentaries? Also just to make it clear can you make a voice reveal first and then do the documentaries.
Great doc. Overall 9.3/10 Pros: I really liked the detail of allosaurus' having a nictitating membrane. The head crest was also in the correct position, uncommon for a lot of dino docs. I also liked the detail of ornitholestes NOT having the crest and also a minor explanation. Cons: Only one thing. Camarasaurus and other macronarian sauropods likely weren't able to stand up on their hind legs (atleast not as much as shown here) and instead were adapted to a more quadrupedal lifestyle. Other than that, it was really good. There were some parts were I couldn't hear the narration, but you can always use the good ol' subtitles.
Thank you! I didn't made the allo and others (But I edit them) And it's a speculation, it depends on a sauropod (For example, the same Diplodocus could hardly stand up because of its body shape and short legs, but brachiosaurs who had strong arms could stand up, and also these camarosaurus weren't huge (it was only 15m)
@@MAKATOONY it really comes down to limb structure, vertebral and pelvic anatomy rather than size. The limb proportions and structure of macronarians, particularly their robust forelimbs, were adapted for supporting their massive bodies in a quadrupedal stance. Their hind limbs were strong, but not necessarily designed for bearing the entire weight of the animal in a bipedal position. The vertebral column and pelvis of macronarian sauropods were structured in a way that suggests a primarily horizontal, quadrupedal stance. The vertebrae and pelvic bones were not as specialized for rearing as those seen in some other sauropods. While it's possible that macronarians could have briefly lifted their front legs for specific behaviors like feeding from tall trees or during mating displays, sustained or frequent bipedal standing is unlikely given their anatomical constraints.
This is a really great animation! I’d just like to point out that I believe with the allosaurus stk should have more skin connecting the fingers, because in life they would’ve needed it to support their arm and finger muscles
well done, i love the planet dinosaur-ish info segments, sauropod fight goes against the common idea that sauropods and herbivores in general are simple/peaceful creatures which is awesome to see and i really like ur ornitholestes.
Truly an AWESOME Dinosaur Documentary-style Animation!, rarely see those on this site, also, my favorite parts were the ones on the Fragile Lizard, the Allosaurus fragilis!🦎
It's Allosaurus from WWD aka Walking with Dinosaurs (it's a documentary that made in 90s) That allo is balled Big Al, you should watch Walking with Dinosaurs
Awesome I really like the fact that you used hissing and rumbling sounds for the dinosaurs. Also, nice models and I like how the male allos have bigger, more colorful crests. I'm defenitly exited for the next episode
Some errors in this video are the appearance of Saurophaganax, it lived in Oklahoma, while Torvosaurus lived in Utah and Wyoming if I'm not mistaken and another mistake was that you said that Saurophaganax was the king of this formation, Saurophaganax was 3.8 tons on average and reached up to 4.3 tons, while Torvosaurus was 4 tons normally and reached 5 tons with a stronger bite, which is compared to the bite of other large theropods like even Tyrannosaurus, and for animals that primarily use their bite in a fight, Torvosaurus would have a better chance of winning
@@MAKATOONY The 6 tons size is really possible, but them meeting is just a possibility, the fossils of Saurophaganax were found in Oklahoma but it is possible that it migrated to other places and could have met with Torvosaurus
@@MAKATOONYOr have Saurophaganax fossils been found in Utah and Wyoming? And did you find these estimates of 6 tons in any article? Can you send me a link about it? I know, I may have said a lot of things wrong, because I have a lot of doubts about this, as all the sites I research show different estimates for Saurophaganax and only show one place where it lived.
I'm not sure about T.Tanneri, but Gurneyi could definitely get over 5 tons.Pretty comparable to Saurophaganax, or maybe even heavier if we don't count in the Leviatan one(honestly, it's terribly overestimated, not to mention it's just a single humerus(possibly?!) If these two ever met, Torvo would absolutely wipe the floor with Sauro...
I mean, even if Camarasaurus had different teeth, that still doesn’t mean that they have a “powerful bite force Their defense mechanism would probably be their powerful necks and sauropods would use that powerful neck to hit a predator and probably give them a concussion since sauropod necks are probably vulnerable weapon
@@MAKATOONY the problem with that is that their teeth are literally designed to rip branches off not to mention they would probably use their necks like I said to give an allosaurus a concussion or broken ribs and also if you look at elephants, they have powerful jaws and they don’t bite as a defense unless, of course, if it’s by accident by some weirdo trainer and I am aware that most herbivores today do bite. It’s just that some do and some don’t. I even did an interview with Tracy Ford about this.
I would like to see next video part 2 in the early cretacous 110mya a we follow a baby tenotosaurus through his life as he meets a zephyrosaurus a sauropelta an acrocanthosaurus sauroposeidon and deinonychus oh and show an adult tenotosaurus clap some deinonychus cheeks

Really cool, I just wish the ai voice didnt sound so weirdand the footsteps are kinda loud to be honest, they shoulb be more quiet, especially for the allosaurus Also wasnt allosaurus fragilis bigger than torvosaurus tanneri
You forgot to mention the fact that Ceratosaurus are small weak fragile and inferior to Allosaurus in every way. Which is why they went extinct. Then the narrator should go on to insult his appearance and intelligence.
The Torvosaurus you're using is from Europe which is larger than Allo but then you brought in Saurophaganax which was only found in North America so to make this right the Torvosaurus would need to be smaller than an Allo
No !? Both of the Torvo species are larger than any Allosaurus species, that is not Saurophaganax/Epanterias. Torvosaurus Gurneyi and Allosaurus (Saurophaganax) Maximus are about the same size, the former weighing 5,2 - 5,4 tons, while estimating the weight of the letter is more difficult, because the fossils are very fregmentary, but possibly around 5 tons. And T.Tanneri (which was shown in the video) was larger than any of the other 3 Allosaurus species...
