The way the bird comes back immediately to you shows that the bird truly loves you and trusts you 🫶. Don’t listen to other comments saying you’re hurting the bird. If the bird is accepting of it it’s fine. And as long as you don’t add TOO much pressure when doing this it’s ok. 😄

I own a ringneck, and believe me, it the bird had a problem with it he would be bleeding like mad. Ringnecks are not a simple parrot to train. The can be more stubborn and vicious than the biggest macaw. The bird is very much in control here.

I mean, yes this is technically the way to train them but flight training is specifically designed to make sure your bird can enjoy the outdoors without flying away, but throwing them isn’t the best idea
