I flew with them this Summer. Two times age a plane under five years, one time an unter then years old plane and one an 13 years old plane. The two younger plane were an a350 and a 777, the middle old plane were a 777 and the oldest an a330. Nice video. ✈️👍👌👏

I have flown Cathay Pacific a number of times from Johannesburg to Hong Kong and I have found their service to be pretty good. It is a long flight, but the Extremely courteous and friendly crew make the long flight a pleasure. Some of their 777's do need some upgrading though. Seats could be a little more comfy
Lovely video! CX's 777-300 is a probably one of the most unfavourable aircraft to pick. You either get a 3-3-3 layout with that hard plastic seat or new 3-4-3 seats

Enjoyed the vid as always. I too was surprised to see such hard seats on a so-called premium airline like Cathay Pacific...To answer ur que, 9 times outta 10 I'm team coffee, but that tea they served u looked mighty good, so I probably would have to go w/the tea, especially being in Asia.

Nice report as always! I have flown them on the opposite direction, they have hotmeal but only water as the drink, and as I've been on their premium economy on CGK-HKG, I'll say the regional business class looks similar to it

Cathay Pacific has replaced the 777-300 seats recently, its brand new seats are same as the a350,much better than the old ones.
YEAH. Der Flieger sieht wirklich schon abgerockt aus. Nicht zu vergleichen auf der Linie Frankfurt - Hong Kong. Der Flug dauert auch fast 11 Stunden.

I tried their A330 last December 2017 and seats are exactly same. Plastic back n little thin cushion
the wingtip makes it look like a 777-200er.
I know because it is a 777-300 and not a 777-300er, a 777-300er has longer wingtips but i agree with you

I will be flying Hong Kong- Kaohsiung (Taiwan) route both ways with Cathay Pacific in November, not sure what to expect on that flight 🤔 it might be an old aircraft too 😔
You mean Cathay Dragon's A333?
777 Lover it shows at the moment the aircraft is A330-300 Cathay Dragon, but it might change 😊
@@ievate Nah it won't. You said Cathay Pacific in the original comment. Cathay Pacific doesn't operate to Kaohsiung but Cathay Dragon does. Their seats are decent on this short flight wide body.

The thin seats on so many airlines these days are really ugly, and make the interiors look very cheap and unattractive. They remind me of a room with cheap folding chairs.
