The CC cream and superhero mascara are the only two I still consistently keep in my collection...along with the brushes.
As soon as I heard they were going to discontinue the physicians formula healthy skin foundation , I went on their website and ordered 2 of them so I think i'll be ok for a while 😍 favourite foundation!
loved this! & i was definitely one of the people who asked for it, cause our tastes are similar, so i really valued you taking the time to give your opinion. my skin is normal-dry, i have a lot of texture (small bumps & pores), some redness, but not much acne scarring. i’ve tried a couple of these, the it cosmetics cc cream, the fenty hydrating foundation, the colourpop tinted moisturiser, and the l’oréal freshwear foundation. the it cosmetics cc cream does perform beautiful, but the shade fair is still a touch too dark for me & i find it way too dewy, it makes me look sweaty... so now i’m really intrigued to try their better foundation because you said it was similar but more toned down, and a better shade range. the fenty foundation looked good for a couple months, then got patchy for me, similar to the matte foundation... i gave it to a friend. i love the colourpop tinted moisturizer, but i think i need mine to be a little lighter. also i personally find it a bit sticky & tacky, so i’d still prefer to find something i personally like better. and the l’oréal freshwear weirdly... i did not like at all. it never sat well on my skin, which surprised me with all the rave reviews, and i’d say i’m pretty lucky & fortunate to have my skin overall. i decided to give it to a friend since it was inexpensive, hopefully she loves it like most people do. from your review i’d love to try the koh gen doh, but sometime way in the future because that is expensive, haha. the ilia has been at the top of my list for awhile so i think i’ll be getting that one next. i’m also intrigued to try the shiseido foundation, i’ve only heard good things. & i’m still interested in the rare beauty one, because it is more affordable than the others i’ve listed & has looked good on people with more mature skin. someone mentioned it already i saw, but i’ve heard great things about the MUFE reboot foundation, so if you ever decide to try that, i would love to hear a review.

I didn't know the Physician's Formula was discontinued! :( I haaaate foundation because it's sticky and makes me look like I have flakes even when I don't. The PF was the one product I loved. Now trying to choose between trying Rare Beauty and Ilia.

Koh Gen Doh 213 is my favourite foundation I have ever tried. 213 is a cool neutral olive that matches me like no other I have found except for CYO(discontinued). It’s a little light in the summer but not a problem. It makes my 54 yo skin look amazing. Forever I will repurchase that. - Tracy

Im oily slin and I looove It skin cc cream! My oils dont separate this cc cream, rather making it look even smooter on my skin mixing up with it. Sounds not to so beautiful, but looks flawleess! 🥺

Loreal's Fresh Wear is MY HOLY GRAIL. It's consistency is quite thin making it easy to blend but it manages to even my skin tone. It is skin-like especially when used with a little amount which I often do. I only wear half a pump for my entire face for school/everyday basis and people always compliment me for having great skin. Additional bonus is that it has SPF 25. I knew I'd love it when it launched because my holy grail before it was Loreal's Stay Fresh Foundation which is basically the same thing but a bit thicker in consistency
I found that the it CC mixed with a few drops of MAC face and body creates the most tolerable dewy look. I dont normally go for "dewy" but this combo is beautiful.
The CYO became my HG but I discovered it so late! It's great news that there's a dupe so please sound the alarm if that one announces its end as well 😓This video was so helpful, thank you! I've been curious about so many of these and it's also so interesting to see where our opinions line up despite having a different skintype!
You make me want to love foundation, seriously. I’ll be (gulp) 50 in January but luckily I’ve always had nice skin. I do have some mild redness in the center of my face that sometimes I think I should do something about but I’ve never really put much effort into figuring out what to use. I have been using the Tatcha Pearl with the concealer-foundation method and that has been really successful, if I could find something that works like that then I would probably be converted to wearing it daily!

Super similar!! The NYX is slightly more creamy, and the PF has a sort of melty, water-cream texture that's really nice. Both look very skinlike the PF just has a touch more coverage. Really like both!
Can you please review the Ilia True Skin Serum Foundation and especially how it compares to the Ilia Skin Tint? The Skin Tint is the only thing I have found that works with my very well taken care of dry skin and slight fine lines. I have tried many of your dry skin foundation suggestions but it’s always is too heavy and settles half way through the day and is frustrating because I can tell they are lovely products. Wondering if the Ilia foundation provides the same lightness but with more coverage vs the skin tint. I love how you thoughtfully explain how to achieve that easy/skin like/natural/dewy look. Your cool confidence and down to earth nature is breath of fresh air. I cannot thank you enough!
I think the camera angle when you don’t zoom is better! Your hand flying in and out of the shot makes me a little dizzy. With it zoomed out I can actually see the swatch you did on your hand better. Thanks for always going in depth in these videos!! :)

Only difference is that I have an olive undertone and sometimes the things you recommend don’t have anything for me. 🥰 Edit: you can still find the old formulation of Koh Gen Do on their site for 34$ ! A bunch of lighter shades are sold out though.
The Kon Gen Do foundation is absolutely gorgeous! But I really don't understand why here in Australia it's like 70 AUD, where in Japan it only costs about 40 AUD🤔I have to buy a dozen next time visiting Japan!
I don't know whether you just needed a new adjective to use, or whether you are really in the dark but Mac face and body is hardly "underrated", in fact is so highly regarded by makeup artists And new comers to makeup, alike, that it has stood the test of time for nearly a generation and those who review it in this days this day in age and know how to really apply it give it a solid 10.

Really want to love the L’Oreal Fresh Wear Foundation. It checks all the boxes except one. The fourth ingredient is Alcohol Denat. Do you find this makes your skin feel drier through the day? Do I need to prep with a richer Mousturizer?

I actually had to return the first shade of my colourpop tinted moisturizer and get 3 SHADES darker to match my fair skin. Their packaging makes them look 3-4 darker than it really is

I have dry skin but I have a good skincare routine, so most foundations work for me, but I tried to make the It Cosmetics one work for me so many times and every time I used it, my skin looked like hot garbage. 😂🤷🏻♀️
so ive bought a bunch of makeup (mostly foundations) lately due to bored and no traveling. I didnt really pay attention to the amount of products that I have bought until my husband said that my foundation have piled up all over my vanity and can last me for years. Im really not an everyday makeup wearer, so with that many foundations would probably last me up to 10 years.... i know it sounds crazy but i dont know if anyone would keep a foundation for more than a year or so, and just use it up for years, because i really dont wanna throw them away after the 6 months life time 🥲🥲🥲.

Highly recommend the Clinique acne solutions BB cream! So underrated but it’s my holy grail

The Kon Gen Do foundation is absolutely gorgeous! But I really don't understand why here in Australia it's like 70 AUD, where in Japan it only costs about 40 AUD🤔I have to buy a dozen next time visiting Japan!

I don't know whether you just needed a new adjective to use, or whether you are really in the dark but Mac face and body is hardly "underrated", in fact is so highly regarded by makeup artists
And new comers to makeup, alike, that it has stood the test of time for nearly a generation and those who review it in this days this day in age and know how to really apply it give it a solid 10.
Loved this vid Amanda! I would honestly love to know the shade range of each of these products (I'll obviously look them up myself but it's cool to have them all in one place). I don't want to fall in love with a product only to find out their brand dgaf about darker POC, esp black folks.

I’m also very skin like looking foundations and my skin because I’m on retinoids can get dry it has nourishing oils in it so it leaves your skin feeling so good

Really want to love the L’Oreal Fresh Wear Foundation. It checks all the boxes except one. The fourth ingredient is Alcohol Denat. Do you find this makes your skin feel drier through the day? Do I need to prep with a richer Mousturizer?

I actually had to return the first shade of my colourpop tinted moisturizer and get 3 SHADES darker to match my fair skin. Their packaging makes them look 3-4 darker than it really is

I have dry skin but I have a good skincare routine, so most foundations work for me, but I tried to make the It Cosmetics one work for me so many times and every time I used it, my skin looked like hot garbage. 😂🤷🏻♀️

so ive bought a bunch of makeup (mostly foundations) lately due to bored and no traveling. I didnt really pay attention to the amount of products that I have bought until my husband said that my foundation have piled up all over my vanity and can last me for years. Im really not an everyday makeup wearer, so with that many foundations would probably last me up to 10 years.... i know it sounds crazy but i dont know if anyone would keep a foundation for more than a year or so, and just use it up for years, because i really dont wanna throw them away after the 6 months life time 🥲🥲🥲.

I’m getting a sample of the IT CC cream in my Ipsy bag this month. I’m hoping it works great for me too! I have fairly dry skin and right now I’ve been enjoying Yensa BC foundation. (Also a sample from Ipsy 😀)

do you still want something really longwearing? I would recommend the flower beauty light illusion! It is thicker than the freshwear but doesnt feel heavy!
@@AmandaZ Long wear is fine but not necessary. As long as it lasts around 9-10 and still looks ok, I'm good! Thank you I'll look into Flower Beauty.
