Casablanca Four Seasons iii Ceiling Fan Bad Control (2024 Remake)

Here's a Casablanca Four Seasons iii Ceiling Fan with a bad control, Unfortunately I found out if you hold the knob, it works on high but, when you let go, it started dying. It turns out the control has a bad resistor.
The capacitor is drifting causing only high to go 126 RPMs. Normally this fan goes 170 RPMs on high.
