This place had me on edge within moments of entering I thought I had made a big mistake going in , filled with youth groups hanging out and the noises within would be enough to send most running , but I continued and tried to meet as many as possible . In the end everyone was fine with us being inside exploring and videoing. Sit back and enjoy this high risk explore .

What an epic explore! So glad everyone got along and were happy to share the space with each other, very wholesome
Thankyou , I was quite worried at the beginning and wondered if it was a mistake but was so intrigued about the place I wanted to push on, so I acted super chill and friendly and it worked out nicely in the end , the young guys were very respectful towards us and we had no problems despite how it started out .
Don’t even get me started with that pool. My friend fell in it thinking it was grass 😂
Oh no , that’s terrible , you never no what lurks under the surface , thanks for watching
My husband used to work there in the 80's. Great explore thankyou...
Glad you enjoyed - thanks for watching .
u both did a good thing giving a homeless person a Christmas gift and merry Christmas to u and your families
Thank you and Merry Christmas to yourself and your family , we give and help far more than is shown on camera , because it’s Christmas I decided to show the little things we do to help others
@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059 u most welcome and thank you
Thank you so much, Chris - wishing you & your loved ones a very Merry Christmas 🎄
What a great year it has been ESB ☺️ its been an absolute pleasure to explore with you, so glad we found that outlet to express our mutual desire for all things abandoned - cheers for the light hearted camaraderie buddy. Great video
Bring on 2024 🙂
Thanks Angel , your support and friendship means the world to me and it’s been a Huge Honour to explore with you. I’ve gone from viewer to subscriber and fan to now having my own channel and sharing my experiences with yourself and your channel , 2024 will be an exciting year for us both and for our viewers . A Big Merry Christmas to you Angel .
nice to see that good gesture for the person, hopefully they got the package
I’m sure he would have , we checked with people in the know that it was definitely his spot. Thankyou for your kind words .
Its such a shame whats happened to Bidura; its such an important peice of architectural history and should have been repourposed if they didn't want to keep using it. And of course, now its just been ruined by dickheads. I was glad to visit and take a few photos to try to preserve the memory before its knocked down for a bunch of cookie-cutter apartments.
Absolutely, it is a so called ‘brutalist design’ and the buildings survival is still being debated today but it’s built properly , anything it’s replaced with will perhaps look pleasing to the eye but won’t have that solidness about it and certainly won’t last as long . Thanks for watching .
that view makes me think this is the old Bidura Complex in Glebe? Great vid mate!
Thankyou , you mention a very well known place and your guess is looking pretty good 😊
I was one of those naughty residents there in 1984, also was out the front in the old historic house.@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059
Yea i been thru bidura manny a time 😂@@jayfromoz
eating turkish delight rn while watching this its going down so well
Man that joint was hectic when we went there two years ago awsome explore
Thankyou - glad you enjoyed the video
All that equipment in the basement with pumps etc are all the HVAC equipment chiller etc, good old day equipment. Miss that equipment. I am surprised that a lot more hasn’t been stripped out and sold for scrap.
@@bradjones1933 it surprised me also , discussions was to repurpose the building , perhaps that’s why , there was a lot of for and against in keeping the building , i believe now it will be demolished at some point .
Good content
@@slyfoxcoffee9642 Thankyou 😊
Having explored there myself both day n' night a couple of years ago, i never came across a single soul... nobody else.
@@James-wj8eq that was lucky , there was many more people off camera , all in groups . Everyone inside was all good with us being there , so despite being rather concerned in the beginning i was feeling comfortable at the end , although always keep your guard up , thanks for watching .
Heard that when this place was relatively unknown, a (portugese or spanish) guy lived here raising a litter of kittens in the basket ball court
I bet there’s a lot of stories inside those walls , thanks for watching .
He says that was a control room but he cant say how he knows. That is because he used to work there.Probably in the control room even
Contractor , otherwise I would have known where the cells are , thanks .
@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059 ahh lol i am only at 9 minutes now and i can tell how you are talking now that its not known to you, it just seemd earlier like you knew the layout first hand when you said it. That would make sense though going o site as a tradie
@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059 it must be uncanny to think back and then what it is like now, or even see something you dealt with back then and what it is now
@@jenkims1953 I knew the front room only as that’s were I’d be let in from the side gate and I’d sign in at that location. Rest of the building is foreign to me , enjoy mate 😊
Everyone cares about personal documents until nobody is paying for you to care about personal documents anymore. I used to work in security and it always makes my eye twitch when I see abandoned places where all the documents are just left behind. 😅
That’s right , they should have been removed from site when it closed down , i always insure I don’t show any personal information no matter how old it may be , thanks for watching .
@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059 in my experience it’s because of the way companies downsize prior to shutting down completely… first to go are normally top level managers then janitorial and/or contractors then assistants and clerical staff, followed by security and middle management. By the time it fully shuts down there’s nobody left who even dealt with the paperwork let alone thought about it when they turned off the lights and closed the door.
@@DaiminsDenOFVids also the working from home thing aswell , what company needs office space when many work from home .
I went to have a look today and within 1 minute of entering I saw about 10 people on the roof and someone was doing something with fire in the first room
Yes it’s very sketchy visiting this place , always take a friend - or two .
I was wondering. Did you explore the underground tunnel there? Kind of under the carpark area
Yes I did - it’s in the video , it was a plant room where the fire fighting water pumps and electrical boards are stored.
What a massive waste of what was a good building in good condition.
It’s a rock solid building , built like they should be , thanks for watching .
Did you see my homie Peter? he’s my realest homie frfr
No we didn’t , that’s who we helped out though
@@exploringsydneyandbeyond9059 good on ya for helping him 🙏people attack him
Dang bro my name is Peter as well. Wonder if I’m that same peter?
Where is this and is it still abandoned
@@davidpratt4258 sorry i don’t give out locations, this is not a safe place to visit , but thanks for watching .
We should do a video together if you are up to it. I am a explorer as well
The weakest court of all..
