my dude, I tried this earlier. It bumped up my beard game a notch. Taking some of the shine out of the oil really did it... legit, I've been buying oil trying to find one that was less shiny. I wanted a clean healthy looking beard, but wanted to keep the biker look, and the shine was hell on that. I appreciate the time you spent on the craft to learn that.

My beard is 14 inches long and I do both. I'll take a shower, pat my beard down to get a lot of the wetness out, then I carefully brush it with a boars beard brush,that'll take out a lot of the wetness, then I put the beard oil in while it's still damp. I use both a brush and a comb to get the tangles out and spread the oil evenly. Then I wait about 5 minutes and put a few more drops in. Nice beard dude and great video. 🍻🍻

Man I wanna grow a beard, I can grow a full beard in like two weeks ,but my wife don't like it..but one time I growed it a few week ,then when I cut it she said I didn't look right with out it ,maybe I need to keep once I grow it again.
Yeah, oil and water don't mix; that's why the beard has to be *damp* and not wet. If it's wet, then oil and water will mix. But if your beard is just damp, what I found is that that oil will kind of coat over the hair and seal that moisture in. I used to dry up my beard really well with a towel and then wait for it to be dry before applying beard oil; since I stopped doing this and applying oil to my beard when it's still moist, I noticed my beard ended up being much less dry by the end of the day.

Same here... I can't put oil on my beard like that bro... when I get up on like a Saturday, I run hot water in the sink and get it completely wet, then use my oil... since I wash it Monday thru Friday. I let it rest on the weekends with leave in conditioners and oil treatments, some stuff I use my wife gives me, you would be surprised how womens hair products are good 4 a beard. ( just conditioners and oil treatments) The only thing I do differently is I use a brush to spread the oil out in my beard, I brush up so many times and then down several times. My best advice to give someone who's wants to grow a beard is, #1is patience and #2 more patience # 3.learn to live with a bad beard day ( yes their is such a thing) because sometimes a beard is just a pain in the ass... other than that my wife loves it and it's pretty damn cool to look at.

I used a hot washcloth or hot towel works great. I put it on about 3 times and it me enough moisture in me beard to open up my pours to put my product in

For all the guys out there that don’t want To take a whole shower just to put in beard oil; just simply wet your beard with your hands and cold water, or get a big bowl or basin and put cold water in it and dip your beard into it that way.

Are we talking about fresh out of the shower damp Beard to where you’re putting beard oil on a dripping wet beard?? or are we talking about patdrying it to that it’s partially damp?
With my beard I can't just use oil, butter. My beard just dries out an hour later. I use a leave in conditioner, then apply, a little oil or butter.
I switch my routines up from using oil then butter, to leave-in and oil on top. Both routines work great for my beard and provides great benefits for the beard and the skin under the beard.🙏🏽👊🏽

Question, I have a decent sized beard, and for years I’ve been dealing with a occasional pop up cyst under the beard, and I have acne prone skin, with makes me not want to use beard oils or at least certain beard oils, any recommendations or ideas?
