God's Standard Man

  • Surely we all feel that we have become human. Therefore, not a few people are angry or offended if there are inappropriate words directed at them, which indicate or are intended to degrade their human dignity. But have we ever thought, have we really become human according to the Creator's standards? God must have a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the implementation and organization of life. Because each of our lives is like a company with all its activities. For that, the church must provide counseling, coaching, mentoring so that the congregation understands how to become human according to the Creator's standards.
Salvation in Jesus Christ means this. That is why Jesus became a man who was in all things the same as us, so that we can emulate how a human model is with His standards. God is the Great Artist and humans also have elements of art or aesthetics according to their fields. There are paintings, sculptures, music, and others. Not only do other people admire his work, but he himself often feels satisfied. Isn't God the same? When Job was praised by God in Job 1:7-8, "Then the LORD asked Satan, "Where have you come from?" And Satan said to the LORD, "From traveling around and walking around the earth." Then the LORD asked Satan, "Have you considered my servant Job? For there is no one like him on earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil." God was proud of Job.
In Matthew 3:7, God boasts about His Son, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” God wants us to be human beings according to God’s intention for creating human beings, according to God’s standards, so that God is pleased. Surely the Father in heaven not only wants to praise a man named Jesus, but the Father also wants to find people who make His heart proud, and the Father can also say: “This is my beloved Son. He pleases me.” And we must always remember that we do not live for free. God created us with the intention and purpose that we please Him. We did not become human beings by chance, but because God willed it.
And God does not demand what we cannot fulfill. It is evil if God demands what we cannot fulfill. Then after we cannot fulfill what God wants, God throws us into hell. So, realize that we are not creatures created without a purpose. There is a reason, there is a purpose, there is a divine purpose; there is a divine intention. Whether male or female, from any tribe, whatever our circumstances, born poor or rich, highly educated or poorly educated, whatever and however our circumstances, God can make us humans who please Him. So what we must ask is, "Have I become a human being according to God's will?"
If we are slightly offended, we get angry, hurt, and then try to destroy that person. This is not yet human. And honestly, we still have those characteristics. If we are aware of that, we feel like we are sick, then we come and look for a church that can change our lives, improve our human qualifications. So now we must be aware that those who enter heaven are humans with God's standards. And before we die, since we are in this world, we must have the symptoms of people who are worthy of entering heaven; namely fulfilling the SOP.
So the Lord Jesus said, “It is not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ who enters heaven, but the one who does the will of God.” Doing the will of God is not only not breaking the law, but every step of our life pleases God, from minute to minute, from hour to hour. And that is what is called holiness. Holiness is not something abstract, mystical, but very technical and natural. So, we must live holy. And what changes us is the media of life that we enter or the dynamics of life that we experience. Because the experience that God provides, it humanizes us.
While we are being crushed, our character is being formed. And God is amazing, He is the Great Architect who knows how to shape us. If we obey, then we will continue to be formed into humans as God wills and pleases Him. So, let's examine ourselves. Our treatment of others shows whether we are human or not. What others feel from our behavior can prove whether we are human or not. People who have become human according to God's standards will certainly treat others humanely. They will be compassionate towards others.
