Ghost Rider is one of the coolest comic book characters to be made. His story is pretty cool and to learn that Blaze and Ketch were brothers was a pretty good twist that wasn't expected. Robbie Reyes as a Ghost Rider is pretty awesome with his car and racing jacket. Eventually it's revealed that Robbie is possessed by the soul of his deceased uncle Eli after using his car in a street race, basically making him a pseudo Rider.
I'm 51, and my uncle use to read the original book of the ghost rider.... where the ghost rider rode a horse... it had scary pictures of the ghost rider. But remember I was maybe 5 or 6, when my uncle use to read it to us.. there was cartoon pictures of the ghost rider. I wonder if he still has that book. It wood be nice to see it again.....
Yeah . The ghoust rider is litterally one of the strongest marvel character , Stan Lee himself confirmed it . Let`s not also forget that he is a death metal icon . This character desreve more movies .
Yeah there's more than one Ghost Rider all total there's six of them that have their own major story lines with a handful of others making the occasional appearance Danny katch being my favorite since he was the one that I grew up with in the '90s as a preteen/teenager now don't get me wrong I still love all of them because Ghost Rider is my all-time number one favorite comic book superhero which is why both the movies disappointed me because they strayed way too far away from the main storyline of the comic books
I most definitely preferred the first Ghost Rider movie- and both films used the Johnny Blaze persona, NOT Daniel Ketch for GR. The Penance Stare is one power NO criminal would want used on him/her. An aspect of the original Marvel Comics Ghost Rider was that writer Gary Friedrich wanted and planned Johnny to be fully redeemed and freed of his curse by Jesus Christ himself (in fact, the recurring character of ‘The Friend’ in the comics, who appeared to help Johnny several times, was indeed supposed to be Jesus, but then EIC Jim Shooter balked at it, afraid of possible backlash from the religious inclined. Strange as Marvel also had this point, Daimon Hellstorm, the Son of Satan.
The Nick Cage movies had potential, but, they screwed it up by making both movies PG-13. Also, I don't know what the hell they were thinking letting Nick do that weird little dance in the second movie........I especially don't know why they actually kept the dance in the movie, were they desperate for footage????.
8:04 Johnny blaze didn't have the pennant stare until after he became the Ghost Rider a second time it was his half-brother Danny that originally had the pennants stare when he became a Ghost Rider
21:15 kerrigan was not turned into blackout he was turned into decay blackout is a vampire and son of Lilith not a demon decay was a character made specifically for that movie he was even credited as kerrigan/decay in the end credits of the movie I made that mistake the first time I watched that movie too
I always thought that Jensen Ackles from Supernatural should have played the Ghost Rider. Jensen Ackles is a much better choice than Nicolas Cage. And not only that maybe Guillermo del Toro should have directed it.
As much of a ghost rider fan back in the mid 90s Dany ketch was my favorite ghost rider. I still have the Heart of darkness comic which featured Him teaming up with punisher and wolverine againts black heart thats were the name zarathos for me was first mentioned. It was also mentioned that zarathos was not a lesser a demon but the one that could rival mephisto, black heart said.
I think it would be very cool to explore how the Penance Stare works on various types of individuals. Like would it work on someone with no sense or morality, and so they have nothing to feel guilty about or feel pain over? If someone is feeling guilty or has or is trying to atone for past actions, does it still work? Does the morality of the individual in question affect how the Penance Stare brings them pain? What about specific situations, in which something that is typically considered to be immoral by most people is understandable and actually not immoral? If anyone has any specific comic recommendations that dive into the specifics of how the stare works, let me know. I love Ghost Rider, but I unfortunately have never read a comic, so my experience with the character is from his appearances in movies and games alone. And occasionally shows, such as S.H.I.E.L.D.'s version of Robbie Reyes (which has a different origin than the comic version), and the various animated appearances.
If you haven’t read any of the comics then I would suggest start at the beginning. Marvel Spotlight #5 the origin of the Ghost Rider Johnny Blaze. If you can’t find or read that one then start with issue #1 of the on going series from 1973. I’m also a huge fan of the Ghost Rider and I have the complete collection of Ghost Rider comics. 🔥💀🔥
@@dalemoyers8881 I believe I made this comment before I started reading any comics. But I have bought the Ghost Rider Complete Collection DVD, which has the Marvel Spotlights, and the main series Ghost Rider comics up through the end of 2006, as well as all the annuals and Ghost Rider Finale. None of the side series, though, like the two Blaze comics or Ghost Rider/Blaze, which is super disappointing, but I guess it's not a big deal. I've not many issues of the 1973 series left to read, and then I can go on from there.
@Shang-Chi & Hulk Demoness Jade {Lady Hulk} marvel? Oh yes that is right he is one of batman villains aka the blackheart Scarecrow blackout of vengeance from justice league avengers comic book

I'd love to see a Ghostrider/Spawn crossover.
I would love to see that. Or pit them against one another. With them both being agents of hell that would be a great crossover.

I liked both movies, hope they do more with it. Looking forward to more Cage, and whoever else they put in there.
Needs to be in marvel phase 2
@@AshTheDuke phase 2 was YEARS AGO lmao
That horse ghost rider needs his own movie
Bad ass and underrated hero
Johnny can switch between his three forms at will at any time.
What are his three forms
Ghost rider is so underrated he need more respect 😤😤😤
Yeah .
The ghoust rider is litterally one of the strongest marvel character , Stan Lee himself confirmed it .

This character desreve more movies .
Would love to see a crossover between Ghost Rider, Spawn, and The Spectre.
The first Ghostrider movie was great but the second was a let down. I hope Nick Cage comes back as the character and do more movies.
I agree
Punisher and ghost rider connection

and Frank Castle survived it!!!
Jesus can defeat Ghost Rider.

Loved the ghost Rider
Cosmic ghost rider and Robbie Reyes are my all time favorite
Long Live Ghost Rider 🔥🔥
Ghost Rider is my 8th favorite comic character and my least favorite Marvel character!
Love the vid man good coverage on all the retcons coming left and right nowadays 👍
“Uncatalogued Ghost Rider DNA detected! Rider DNA acquired and available!” - Omnitrix.
1rst one is my favorite movie from Marvel but the second one I was highly disappointed 😞
Why
8:04 Johnny blaze didn't have the pennant stare until after he became the Ghost Rider a second time it was his half-brother Danny that originally had the pennants stare when he became a Ghost Rider
Imagine ghost raider has an Anime
"The Spirit of VENGEANCE!!!"
- Ghost Rider. 💀
I really would love to see Robbie Reyes again in an mcu movie gabriel Luna was great in the role
🤗💯
Love night rider I hav both movies
Mcu needs to bring Johnny blaze. I want to see Nicholas cage!!!
Who's with me!!!??

They need to remaster the ps2 ghost rider game

Finally someone who agrees that Jensen Ackles would be a great ghost rider

The character of robie Reyes was introduced in the fourth season of agents of shield
I have commented
Why was Robbie Reyes less than a side note? Though I wasn’t collecting comics at the time, he has a compelling story, so why sideline him?
I hope they reboot Ghost Rider toe the MCU as soon as possible.
Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) appeared in Season FOUR of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., not S3.
I absolutely enjoyed the first ghost rider movie but I didn't like the sequel 😇👍😬
Is it KEVIN FEIGE or KEVIN FEEGE 🤔😆
A point. The chain was a weapon defined and used by the Danny Ketch Ghost Rider...not Johnny Blaze.

How do you know if it’s the ghost rider.. well if it’s a motorcycle an on fire....
Paul walker walked out of this movie and nicholas cage took over
Funny how he doesn't even talk about the TV shows Ghost Rider
Ghost rider? Are you speaking of the ps2 video game character?
@Shang-Chi & Hulk Demoness Jade {Lady Hulk} marvel? Oh yes that is right he is one of batman villains aka the blackheart Scarecrow blackout of vengeance from justice league avengers comic book
And you know it doesn't surprise me that nobody else can get his continuity right considering the fact that marvel keeps f****** it up themselves
In my opinion think you over used GR movie stuff and you should of used more pics from the comic!🤔🤔
9:09 y'all need to quit mixing Johnny blaze up with Danny catch that's one of the biggest f****** problems with those damn movies
🤔 wasn't Punisher immune to the penance stare?
Yes the Punisher was immune to the Penance Stare because he literally feels no guilt about what he's done.
How do you mispronounce Feige?
