      Awesome. Hope you have a great stay at Bonnet Creek. As for buildings. I would suggest 4, 5 or 6 as they seem to be closest to the two lazy rivers and the main checkin area and most activities. If you have a Presidential Reserve unit booked, then those are only in tower 6. Thanks for watching.

    You're going to need a vacation from your vacations! I'm convinced that timeshare ownership is truly for those that can maximize all these additional bonus stays. I'm so jealous you got to stay there.
    We were going to stay at Club Wyndham (yes, the timeshare side) for our honeymoon, but there was an issue with our reservations. We went from having two concurrent reservations to none in two hours, and when they tried to get one of them back for us, they were suddenly sold out for our week. Guess we'll go for our anniversary some day.

      That stinks! I do hope you get the chance to go sometime as it is a great resort. I have found the best way is to book through a Wyndham owner. Hey Jeremy do you personally own/have a timeshare with Wyndham? We just did a presentation there and everything just sounds too good to be true

    • @DestinationTimeshare
      @DestinationTimeshare 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hello Danny. We do not own Wyndham timeshare. We have always rented from owners through KOALA. We also just went to our first Wyndham timeshare presentation. They do make everything sound great. However, there is really no need to buy direct from Wyndham. If you want to own, consider resale. Much cheaper and many of the same benefits of being able to book Club Wyndham properties. For more information, check out the Wyndham forum over on www.tugbbs.com. A lot of owners over there that can give great advice if you are looking to own Wyndham. However, we have found renting to be a great and cheap option if you are flexible and can rent somewhat last minute. Thanks for watching!

    First, thank you for sharing all of this information! We are considering renting through Koala in 2023. Is Koala good about answering questions and can then take requests? For example, if I would like to have a tower near to the lobby area for various reasons is that something I could ask of them? Also, when you rent from an owner through Koala, do they give you all of the property information you would need (i.e. how to book a theme park shuttle, any rules about getting groceries delivered, etc...)?

    • @DestinationTimeshare
      @DestinationTimeshare ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching! We rented our reservation through Koala. As for special requests, those would probably need to be done directly with the resort once you have a reservation. But I am not sure they take specific requests from non owners. You may want to ask the Koala about this and if they can pass that information on to the owner that is renting you the reservation. Koala is pretty easy with communications and seems willing to answer any questions.
      The resort is also pretty flexible about being able to accommodate specific requests at checkin as the resort is very large. We never received any property information from them ahead of check in. As for shuttle times and grocery delivery, you may want to talk to the resort directly and have them send you the shuttle schedule and how to reserve it for certain days. There is also a rather long thread over on DISBoards with many of the same questions being asked and answered. Check that out; www.disboards.com/threads/the-we-loooooove-club-wyndham-bonnet-creek-part-4.3366139/

      Which number tower has the kids pool the one with the pirate ship?

    • @DestinationTimeshare
      @DestinationTimeshare 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@jamiecarbone7836 That pool is at the base of Tower 6. Tower 6 is the tower with presidential units in it. So if you booked a presidential unit, you would certainly be in that tower. There are also deluxe villas in that tower.
      Keep in mind though that the pirate ship really isn't a play/water feature. It is just the theming of the pool. There is also a waterslide at that pool. Just wanted to clarify about the pirate ship since several resorts in Orlando have pirate ship pools where kids can play on them and they are more like a splash pad with slides built in.

    Thanks for the infomercial. With a possible recession on the horizon (loss of jobs, loss of homes and diving national home incomes), do you think "Travel Share" (actually timeshare) company wishing to take your future income is the way to go? Just asking?

    • @DestinationTimeshare
      @DestinationTimeshare 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Certainly many companies out there are looking for a share of your future income and money. That is what they are in the business to do. Timeshare is twofold, yes signing up for the ongoing fees isn't a good idea if you expect to have a loss of job or income in the future. Timeshares however do offer a value proposition over traditional hotel stays. IN the current inflationary period, hotel rates are skyrocketing. We will probably see big increases in timeshare maintenance fees in the future too, but generally with the right research for the right timeshare, a timeshare will save money vs a hotel stay (as long as you use the timeshare).
      Timeshare brands that tend to target the high end buyer are also a little more insulated from a market downturn. They have a buyer and owner that is more affluent and perhaps not as likely to be impacted by a recession. In past recessions, timeshare tended to fare much better and retain much higher occupancy levels than traditional hotels and resorts. Since people are already paying for the timeshare and the associated fees, they feel a need to use it.

    I LOVE your videos. So much info. I typically stay at Bonnet Creek and notice lately harder to book directly through Extra Holidays website during the summer. I’ve never rented through a 3rd party and concerned that I will have a reservation. Looking to book 10+ rooms for a family reunion next summer. Would you suggest finding another resort or is using a 3rd party booking pretty safe to use?

    • @DestinationTimeshare
      @DestinationTimeshare 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Renting from an owner is certainly cheaper, but I don't know what 10+ rooms would look like and what kind of red flags that might cause. Reunion Resort to the south may be another good option as they have all three bedroom units. Sheraton Vistana Resort could also work as there always seems to be a lot of availability there. It isn't as nice as Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek, but getting the number of rooms needed might be easier. You can often find Vistana Resort on the many booking sites but there are private rentals often available on Redweek.
